Is it possible this retard misunderstood and her father said swimming? I have heard that argument for years and there may be some validity to it as not everyone has access to a swimming pool. But there literally is no sport that requires less privilege than running.
My daughter is 21 tomorrow! Wild and hard to believe.

I was waiting to board a flight and the young woman behind me was very engrossed playing on her phone while actively picking her nose and eating what came out. She looked like she didn’t shave her legs but that wasn’t my main concern.

My dad travelled to Oregon last year. Very aggressive lymphoma diagnosis with less than 3 months to live. He was scared of wasting away. That’s not the way he wanted to go out. It was the right choice for him.

The key to this scenario is knowing what’s going on. Therefore, if I really know this boat is sinking and that I have 2+ hours to come up with something, I think I can survive. I would assume there would be some sort of barrel on the ship that could be emptied and made into a raft tied to a wood frame (oars?) with rope or sheets. A couple of steamer trucks full of life preservers would also make the base of a decent raft. Getting it into the water in one piece and then getting into water myself would be tricky but I like my chances.
Again, this all assumes I know the story of the sinking of the boat and the timeframe. Otherwise, I think I would be kind of screwed.
