With the transfer portal and NIL, bama will lose good players every year. As long as saban is there, they will just bring in good players to replace the ones leaving.

30% of the recruits signed each year will not play a meaningful down and that is with Nick Saban recruiting! That has been the case since he came to Bama. The good news is now he doesn't have to hold on to that 30% now because they can leave for other schools and Nick can jump back and recruit over that loss quickly.

But Bama
Beat Bama

It is going to affect depth.

S&C programs are going to have a great deal of difficulty with players jumping around to develop properly.

Quality OL in particular are going to rapidly become a premium in the draft. I don’t mean the few really stellar talents, guys who are just better than average. Even mediocre linemen are going to move up in the draft pecking order.

It appears Bama is having a change in philosophy and returning to its old ways. Bama had gone to a more athletic big man but it is not working. I like this hail on The OL and the defensive players they picked up. Need more DL though. I expect a lot of these guys will be impact players or rotational players over what Bama has brought in the last two years.

My favorite au poster. Always keeps me updated on UA. She knows more about our program than any of the sites, writers, and insiders.

Evaluations were really hampered with no summer camps do to covid that year.

Schools had to take players without really seeing them against top competition.

So this is your new spin since you failed so horribly on the prediction that Alabama recruiting #1 classes were over

Is that so? That class utterly embarrassed you neck beards last year and the year before that.

Better thank the injury gods for sparing you a third humiliation in the NC game... I mean, get on your knees and blow them for gifting you that NC.

You can spin it however you want. UGA has passed bama in the pecking order. Will that change in the near future?

the 2 games were split last season and Alabama just signed another #1 class, so apparently not

and this year you didn't even make it to Atlanta and UGA is going into the tourney as the #1 seed. So yeah, I can see how you think bama has not been passed by UGA.

ETA btw, which of the split last year did UGA win?

I'm not looking up the class.
But I'm pretty sure that UGA lost a lot of the 2018 #1 class.

It happens when guys aren't patient or dont want to put in the work.

You seem to be better off without them.

If half of the guys we signed today are on the roster 2-3 years from now and contributing that would be a success.

When you have so much talent at every position like Bama does, some players just aren't going to get as much playing time as they think they should have. They have to move to lesser programs for their shot.

We heard the same song and dance a few years ago with Clemson. The hate some of you have for Alabama is amazing.

So,Alabama likely (again this year) has signed the #1 recruiting class in the nation. Some little dirty, dusty hole in the wall in Texas sneaked in and got the #1 class last year but managed to do absolutely nothing with them. Let’s see if Saban and gang can do better with this group than 5&7 did with theirs.

it has nothing to do with "hate". Facts are the facts......at this present time. And Clemson did nothing approaching what UGA is doing in a much stronger conference.

It's obvious...you can't give credit where credit is due.
