From 2021. Per 247, Alabama signed sixteen top 100 recruits and five of them are already gone from the roster before their junior season. It'll be interesting to see how many of the remaining players are still around a year from now.

#6 overall - Tommy Brockermeyer (OL) - TCU
#34 overall - Camar Wheaton (RB) - SMU
#45 overall - Agiye Hall (WR) - Texas
#47 overall - JoJo Earle (WR) - TCU
#75 overall - Christian Leary (WR) - UCF

Waited 10 years for a response thread. Patience is a virtue.

I’d wager Alabama’s is not the only covid class full of misses.

But you’re a glutton for punishment. Your take on the 2023 class was a classic.

2021 was also a weird year for recruiting where the scouting couldn’t be as strong because of Covid.

This is a normal year now and Sabans #1 classes always workout when that’s the case

The current transfer rules weren’t around then.

The new rule makes it difficult to hoard top talent. The new trend is it appears to get diluted out over time. Another good example is soon to be 1st round LB Drew Sanders.

I'd like to thank Auburn and it's boosters for the dumpster fire they've created at Auburn leaving Alabama an easy path for in state recruits.

I see what you’re doing but I like this class more than that one. The last two weeks - adding four five stars.

Just seems this class has far more momentum and the players connect better than previous classes.

Couldn’t not be more wrong. We’ve gained far more talent than lost. Picked up JAMO, Gibbs, Elias Ricks, Jermaine Burton, and starting left tackle that was better than the Brockermeyee twins. What are you smoking lol a box of denial?

2019? Most of them are seniors or already in the NFL. Pretty standard success rate for a class. Typical wash outs but some overachievers too.

The 2018 class was bad though.

Thanks for this.

The fact this kid left so he could get playing time tells us how ridiculous the level of talent is at Bama. We’ll take all the bench warmers they can send us….

Heck, he probably was the most talented kid on our team regardless of position.
