LSU fans love Coach O but the entire "TaxSlayer Bowl" thing is laughable. Coach O has been to three bowl games at LSU, two of those being the Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl (where he's 1-1).

His two bowl wins are over Louisville and UCF, but they'll take that over the guy who actually has a national title as a head coach.

That was when he had to navigate through a much weaker ACC. The league he is in now is light years ahead. Like I said, we’ll know where he stands after year 3 or 4. I understand the aggy excitement though because y’all have never really won anything.

All the bowls sound stupid with the sponsor names now, but the Citrus Bowl has been a good bowl for a long time. It has the highest payout of any non-playoff bowl game. And the Coach O hire was extremely unpopular, but LSU fans are just giving him credit for doing pretty well. If things don't go really good this year, you will see them turn really fast.

LSU fans preferred Jimbo, but Orgeron is the coach and LSU finished #6 last year. Pretty good. And again, Ed O managed to whip that Louisville team's arse while Jimbo's highly ranked team got beat 63-20. So in that instance, Ed O was better than the guy with the national title.

*A guy who actually has a national title as a head coach
At another school, in a weaker conference, with different players.

Passed isn’t the right word. There’s conflicting stories, but we weren’t matching what he’s making at A&M. He’s not worth it

I think Jimbo is a good coach, but Ed O had a 6-2 SEC record in his first official year. aTm was a very debatable call from being 8-5 in his first year with the incomplete pass (fumble) call against LSU where the TV announcers called it a fumble in live action and still thought it was a fumble after all the replays. But they did get the call. Still, he had losses against teams that had 3-5 and 4-4 SEC records. For what he's getting paid, a lot more is going to be expected.

Was a 5-3 SEC record expected for Eddy in his 3rd year?

Most LSU fans didn't even think he'd be here a 3rd year, so no.

Of course they are not happy Jimbo told them to piss off, but they will never admit it and hide behind being poor ignorant slobs who get drunk and puke all over themselves.

That team exceeded all the experts predictions for last year.
Finished the season ranked #6.

What is all of the love for Fisher? He inherited a program that was in great shape and left it in horrible shape at FSU....ATM will regret the hire....
