Jimbo took sumlin players and beat down lsu

So a 7 OT game that was forced into overtime by a seriously questionable call and a last second TD is a beat down?

Christ you Ags are terrible

Well, Jimbo either tanked on purpose (poor character) at FSU or fell apart for real (poor management). I dont know which one it is but both are somewhat alarming. There’s no doubt he’s a great QB whisperer but idk about the rest. Time will tell. I do know his fake accent is on point

But he could also very well tank the shite out of your program. He’s proven he also has that capability (see FSU).

The rumblings of Jimbo to A&M started at the very beginning of his very last season. Jimbo had a foot out the door after FSU wouldn't invest in the program like he felt they needed to.

His win totals were 10, 9, 12, 14, 13, 10, 10, 5. So your entire sample size is one season, his last. So pardon me if I write you off as just a bitter hater.

Jimbo and Ag's have a great contract. Either side wants to go, they can go.

Jimbo has a great contract. Fixed that for you.

Jimbo can walk at any time and not owe aggy a cent, meanwhile aggy fully guaranteed Jimbo's entire $75M. That's like a punchline on an SNL skit only funny.

So he shirked his responsibilities and the commitment he made to a school and an entire team of young men while whoring himself out behind the scenes to other schools for a better gig?

Wow, what an upstanding guy. He sounds entitled and severely lacking in honor an integrity IMHO.

worry about your own program and coach

maybe your players won’t get scared again and pee themselves when Alabama walks on the field this fall

Y’all got a good one Aggy. Hopefully he doesn’t try to fight one of your milkmen after a loss.

Jimbo was the shiny new toy that brought a different message than the players were used to in year 1. They rallied around this new hope and played hard for him. I’m anxious to see how they respond when things get tough with the brutal schedule this year and the newness of his pitch to the players starts to go away. I don’t think it’s out of the question for him to win 9-10 games like he did at FSU, but this league is much more brutal than the ACC. He’s definitely an upgrade over Sumlin, but don’t let the fact that he won a natty cloud your judgment. Les Miles and Gene Chizik both have one and we all know how they are viewed. I think we’ll have a much better idea on the type of coach he is after his third or fourth year.

That would never happen with Jimbo and those caliber of players

But Jimbo did take his #2 ranked FSU talent and get destroyed 63-20 by #10 Louisville in his 7th year there and LSU with Ed Orgeron faced that same Louisville team that year in the bowl game and LSU whipped them by 20 with Ed O as the interim coach.

A genius who knew he would be heading to LSU and leaving an SEC West opponent paying a $75,000,000 contract to a coach going to Taxslayer Bowls. And if Jimbo does better than that and decides to leave, then he has no buyout. An AD that knows how to play chess.

Orgeron has been great for LSU.
As much as many want him to fail, Coach O/LSU appears to be a very successful match.
I like the guy and his strong Cajun roots!
