Are y'all happy you passed on Jimbo and hired Orgeron?

I’m happy we aren’t paying $75,000,000 for Taxslayer Bowls.

Are you gonna be happy when Jimbo gets 2 in a row this year?

LSU did not pass on JF and then hire Coach O. There are a lot of stories out there about who did what during LSU's pitch to JF but in the end he did not come to LSU and then JA chose Coach O. Either you are ignorant or just a poor troll as this has been hashed over 100 + times. But you might ask Nole fans if they are happy JF left their program in total shambles.

I am. Jimbo is washed up. Big O is a coach of destiny for LSU.

I’m still skeptical about O, although he’s mostly proven me wrong so far.

I wouldn’t trade him for Jimbo and that contract though.

Why is it always about money?

It is not coming out of your or my pocket.
I'm being serious.

So you're content with Taxslayer Bowls? Got it.

The fact that one fluke victory has given y’all the confidence to believe y’all will waltz right into Tiger Stadium and steal a W cracks me up.

If you support your team in any financial way then yes it is coming out of your pocket. If you don't understand that then I assume you don't get economics.

To say Jimbo is worth it? Well time will tell, but I will say Aggie didn't let money get in their way. Might end up looking stupid but you weren't scared thats for sure.

A&M is in the top 1 or 2 in football revenue. I'd be more upset if they didn't go out and spend a boat load of money on the best possible coach they could get.

Jimbo took sumlin players and beat down lsu and nearly beat clemson in year 1. It is clear who is the better coach.

O was bitch slapped 29-0 in his third year at home. That would never happen with Jimbo and those caliber of players

Yeah, he just loses 63-20 to Louisville.

With players better than A&M will ever have Jimbo is overrated and you didnt play Trevor Laurence.

But did they get “the best coach possible”? That’s the real question.

Jimbo could very well take A&M to a national championship. He’s proven that he has that capability (see FSU).

But he could also very well tank the shite out of your program. He’s proven he also has that capability (see FSU).

If you are expecting him to build an empire of back to back championships, it’s not going to happen. He’s not a dynasty building coach (granted few are). He’s basically Gus Malzahn but a little less goofy (acting not looking because both of them are goofy looking). You’re gonna have some really good seasons (with a legit chance at a championship) followed by some really bad seasons. He and Malzahn are an “eggs all in one basket” kind of coach. They focus mostly on “this year” instead of better preparing for the next few years.

smh

In all of the money in NCAA football, $75M is chump change.

Jimbo and Ag's have a great contract. Either side wants to go, they can go.

It is only money.
