Seems like they should move the UGA game instead of the Iron Bowl.

Yeah I would like to see Bama spread the LSU game and Auburn game out a bit but Auburn definitely has the worst of it because Georgia most years is very competitive. TN has been a no show minus one year for 10 yrs so it doesn't effect Bama as much atvthis time.

boogs entire existence revolves around beating BAMA. Early loss to BAMA and they'd tank the season.

The real Iron Bowl was great, 50/50 ticket split and a neutral field. Jawja vs UF managed to keep theirs that way.

Cause there was a stadium to play it in. We don't have a neutral stadium that we can play it in that would meet the needs of the game.

This isn't about owning or a flame.

Think about it Auburns has Bama and Georgia.

LSU has Bama and what could be an emerging ATM team

Bama has LSU, MSST (who knows where they're gonna be now) and Auburn.

I realize right now these are the only competitive teams and that can change in a few years.

I would love for the IB to move back a week and both teams have the Saturday after Thanksgiving off, but other teams will scream that's not fair.

or we both could just ditch the cupcakes we play the week before. Even Saban admitted he hates them

You're a moron, but our players took on Bama while yours took on GaTech. Probably had a lot to do with injuries as well. Not too mention it gives time for the loser of the UGA/AU game to work its way back into the polls.

I have heard that AU and UGA are trying to get the game moved up and could happen as soon as 2019.

I know MSST is not a traditional power but after a physical LSU game is seems to be a dog fight every year.

To be honest I would love to see the sec got to a complete conference schedule with two bye weeks and drop OOC games. All rivalries stay intact you would play every east team during your tenure at your university as a player. I know it's not going to happen but if justvone conference did it I imagine the others would follow. It would provide a more NFL like structure.

I like it where it's at.

Thanksgiving is a time that family get together. That's when the shite talking starts.....Saturday is when it ends.

Move AU/UGA to 1st week of October.

UGA plays UT end of Sept and UF end of Oct. UGA may not favor playing AU within a week of either of those games. As long as they avoid that, it seems like they'd favor moving AU into Sept or Oct. Maybe UGA could swap the UT and AU games on their schedule.

I have always thought uga should swap us with UT. I would assume UT would prefer saving a decent game for the end of the season as well.

Yea, as someone not invested it seems like Auburn/Georgia around the same time as Alabama/Tennessee would make sense.

The idea of a UGA/Bama/SECCG 3 game streak for Auburn is incredibly difficult, especially if that team in Atlanta is generally Georgia. That's 3 of the most physical games in college football and they are back to back to back.

I fail to understand why a change is needed? Auburn currently sits at 3-7 vs LSU/UGA/Bama in the last decade is that because of the timing of the schedule?
