System is set up retardly.

There should be a line right after the 12th ranked team. 1-12 in. No conference-bowl affiliations, no charity G5 handout.

Nah sitting home next week and a Bama win would alter that. Even if they fall to 5. The issue would be if Uga doesn't fall out. And Tx and FSu win next wk.

If Aladamnbama beats Ga, they are in the playoffs. I really don’t know why it’s so hard for you Alafrickingbama folks to grasp this.

Bama has the same problem Texas does , Oregon. Both have a superior resume to ducks but for some reason committee has Oregon ahead. Texas and bama should jump Oregon this week but they won’t. Maybe Oregon then jumps with win over Washington but they shouldn’t be ahead now.

Texas vs Oregon

Wins vs current top 25
Texas: 2
Oregon: 1

Opponent Record (excluding FCS)
Texas: 81-63
Oregon: 67-66

Wins vs teams currently bowl eligible
Texas: 7
Oregon: 5

Score against Texas Tech
Texas: 57-7
Oregon: 38-30

dont know how anyone can say Ohio state this year is better after watching that qb throw the ball.. Last years team isnt this years team... Texas is better i have little doubt. Michigan and Ohio State play one game seasons ever year and get exposed. The big ten middle teams are trash.... the whole league is a offensive disaster.

The b1G? About the whole b12 is pathetic.

No team from there should be considered.

An Aggie fan calling anything other than their program pathetic is laughable.

The state of our program has nothing to do with how mediocre tx is - AND how laughable the b12 is. Keep up junior.

… Mediocre? This coming from an Aggie fan? Lol. Looking forward to restarting the yearly tradition of showing the country why y’all are the little brother.

Oregon's win over one loss Washington would trump Texas's win over 2-loss Bama,

This creates a quandry because UW and O would only have a loss to each other... so who do you take?

Texas is the only team with a top 10 strength of schedule

The rest are 30 and above

4 Florida State Seminoles 12-0 (5)

3 Washington Huskies 12-0 (4)

2 Michigan Wolverines 12-0 (3)

1 Georgia Bulldogs 12-0 (1)

Although it’s doubtful this holds up, having 4 undefeated teams from different conferences would be pretty cool.

Bama is in the same boat with Oregon. More ranked wins, better SOS, better loss to you guys especially if Oregon beats Washington. Bama would have the best win in the country if they beat UGA which translates to Texas as well.

It should be in that Scenario if Bama beats UGA and only Oregon beats Wash.

UM
FSU
Texas
Bama

Oregon doesn’t have the resume.

The winner of the Pac12 championship game is in. Not saying I agree with that, but it is what it is. It’s reality.

If Bama beats Georgia, they need a Texas or FSU loss.

I wouldn’t bet on that. Georgia would drop to number 4 or 5 and I don’t think Alabama would go up that far. They would probably just jump over Oregon and Texas.
