Troy.MO's own Harley Race won 16 World Titles by himself

Sounds like you're confusing him and Flair. Harley was a 7x champ.

Kinda weird for a fan of an SEC school to brag about being in a Pro sports state.

Did the team win them, or the city? The city has the joy of the celebration but the team is an owned business. The organization won the championships, they get to keep them. Just as if they were to return to STL, STL could claim last years NFC championship

I said PRO sports.

Professionals get paid, so I guess you should include National Championships from all college teams.

In case y’all were curious as to why our college baseball team has and forever will struggle to gain any real attention...when you have 2 World Champion MLB teams within 2 hours to the East and West it isn’t going to happen.

Hopeful with the Rams finally gone from St Louis it will allow us to mine headlines from St Louis in football season like never before. Our current recruiting class is mostly from St Louis at this point.

I know the OP may have been in jest, but it reflects our situation in a way y’all don’t have.

The royals are the worst team in baseball.

Cards-11
Royals-2
Blues- 1
Chiefs- 1 (Super Bowl IV)
Rams- 1 (Super Bowl XXXIV)
Hawks- 1 ( 1958 NBA Finals)
Let break it down though

Cards/St. Louis have had 127 seasons

Royals have had 50

Blues have had 52

Chiefs have had 56

Rams had 20

Hawks had 13

So 17 titles in 318 seasons for a pct of 5.3%

Louisiana

Saints have had 52

Jazz had 5

Pels/Hornets have had 17

so 1 title in 74 seasons for 1.4 %

Not too different

Georgia sucks and is funny though

Still bitter about the '15 ALDS?

Why would I be bitter? Astros have won the series since then. The royals haven't made the playoffs since then.

I've just always found Mizzou's excuse for having pathetic fan support for their baseball team to be dumb. Lots of states with good MLB teams have college teams that have great fan support.

That's weird because...you definitely sound bitter.

The state of South Carolina must have at least 1 since Clemson beat an “NFL caliber” and Finebaum proclaimed “greatest college football team of all time” Bama in the NCG.
So by the transitive property, Clemson would have defeated New England in the last SB.

Saying that your school has a hard time with recruiting because you have pro teams in your state is one of the more ridiculous things I've heard on here.

Two for Rockets and one for stros. I guess two for pre-super bowl AFL titles. The rest? Women's rugby or something?
