Yea I have no clue where you're getting 17 from. It's half of that even if you count pre superbowl titles and MLS titles

None of the above states have pre Super Bowl titles.

Texas has at least 17.

Dallas 7 (5 SB, 1 NBA, 1 NHL)
San Antonio 5 NBA
Houston 5 (2 pre-SB AFL, 1 MLB, 2 NBA)

I'm pretty sure the Chiefs have 3 AFL titles which would bring Missouri's total to 20.

Only one of those was pre-SB.
The Oilers also won 2 pre-SB AFL titles.

Pro just means you get paid.

Houston alone has 9. Add that to the Spurs, Cowboys, Stars(?) and I think you'll find Texas wins... again.

Stars won in ‘99 and the Mavs in ‘11.

I have deemed myself arbiter of this thread and I declare that if a team moves away, they take their titles with them. So in this case Missouri has 15 (still good), and the rams give Cali another (who cares) and the hawks take theirs to Georgia giving them 2 (still ridiculous)
