Talk about Ole Miss having zero class but it’s typical for that fan base.

Innocent bystander here but take the rivalry out of it for a moment. If I understand the issue, Ole Miss paid the kid to play for them this year. Instead, he followed Kiffin to LSU. When you pay for a service you expect a service. If you gave someone some money to have some work done but they skipped out on you? You OK with that?

it's classless because you're not required to personally serve a discovery request. It's permissible but not required. A certificate of service, certifying you mailed it to his known address would have been sufficient under the rules of civil procedure. They wanted to embarrass him on the week of his game against Ole Miss.

He did not respond in the 30 day window we provided. Seems like he embarrassed himself by not acting like a fricking grown-up

Then they could have moved for a default judgment for his failure to file a responsive pleading to the lawsuit

Him not responding to the lawsuit has nothing to do with whether or not they had any legitimate reason to need to serve him personally with a discovery request

I don’t think Ole Miss paid any money to Umanmielen.

A contract was signed to pay Umanmielen in the future to play football at Ole Miss, but a week later he entered the transfer portal and followed Kiffin to LSU. Ole Miss is trying to collect contract buyout money and not money actually paid to Umanmielen.

It's because Ole Miss changed their bullshite from recouping the money from the player's buyout to having LSU lose the money from they rev share. Yeah, LSU is going to tell Ole Miss to frick off 100 out of 100 times right now.

It'll get sorted out eventually but this was dumb 3 days before the game.

What a fricking bitch arse move by Ole Miss. Bunch of jaded bitches. Can’t wait for Kiffin to show y’all what’s up on Saturday. They’re all losing their fricking minds over it and this just proves that.
