I gave you facts. What's the issue? We haven't needed those 2 players. OM 1000% needs Chambliss to avoid 3-9. LOL. This has been glorious.

It's "rev agreement" to play football. He is being paid to play football. That makes any player that shares in revenue to play football a professional. This isn't that hard.

The Save College Football Act is a sham. College football is beyond saving.

Isn’t one of the Ole Miss talking points that the entire team is pissed off at Kiffin?

Yeah, if LSU proved anything over the last 10 months it's that they're poor

You can possess nice things while being highly over-leveraged and facing an acute cash flow squeeze, no?

It is the American way.

Go watch Dottery falling backwards making tackles against power run teams.

He has an actual LB guru in Blake Baker as his DC now. He's been mid 90's on his PFF grades this year and looks fast as hell while doing it. Meanwhile yalls LBs look lost. Go look at the long run on power read by the Louisville QB. Your DE did a terrible job and got up the field then your backside LB overran it like a junior high player. The 3 ILB yall play are flat out bad. Can't believe Pete had to tamper to get 12. He sucks.

You should be ashamed of this. But I know you arent

Ask the person who served the papers. You act like it was an Ole Miss official that delivered the papers or that they ordered when to have it delivered.

It's absolutely how that works. I'm assuming they served him with the summons even though Ole Miss filed suit months ago (at least I think they did). Given that he just now got served, Ole Miss likely withheld service initially. It's not uncommon to file a suit but withhold service for a variety of reasons. Ole Miss absolutely could have requested service this week out of spite.

I wouldn't put too much stock in garbage time gainz.

Charlotte's 1st 3 drives of the 2nd half :
8 plays 64 yds FG
12 plays 59 yds FG
8 plays 64 yds FG

Ole Miss starters were still in during those drives

I think you can argue they may have selected Aug 14 specifically due to timing with the assumption there wouldn’t be a response, but had there been a response submitted then appears the action this week wouldn’t have happened.

Umanmielen and Harper were served with a summons on Aug. 14 and didn't respond within the 30-day window.

Ole Miss fans “Kiffin is making this about himself and we will not be hostile”

Also Ole Miss AD, “Let me serve papers for an ongoing legal battle 4 days before the game” because I’m a petty man who can’t see a process out and move on because deep down I know we are fricked when Chambliss graduates unless he gets a 7th year

I'd much rather have a substative football discussion than smack talk, but sometimes you have to oblige the rant gods.

Honestly, I think it's going to be a hell of a game. I'm ready to get it over with and see how the rest of the season shakes out though.

Okay, I didn't read the actual article until just now. They served him discovery . They absolutely controlled the timing of when this was served.

quote:

According to court records in the Circuit Court of Lafayette County in Oxford, Mississippi, Umanmielen was served with the plaintiff's first set of interrogatories, requests for production of documents and requests for admission on Tuesday.
