This is not like the others. TAMU would have the best record in the conference if this were the case.

The SEC CG would be LSU vs A&M in this scenario.

This site would get UGLY.

Agreed, but it does open the door for a different question. Say A&M goes to the SECCG and loses to whoever they face, do they get bumped out of the playoffs for an SEC team that went 10-2 but didn't go to the conference title game?

D Cumulative Conference winning percentage of all Conference opponents among the tied teams

E Capped relative total scoring margin versus all Conference opponents among the tied teams

F Random draw of the tied teams

Aggies with 1 SEC loss would qualify -

the other 4 teams would likely be determined by Tie-Breaker D - since there are not enough common opponents among the 4 -

This puts TAMU in Atlanta.

No, because we'd have wins over Texas or LSU (or both) + 6 other SEC teams.

Not very plausible to think UT beats Gumps but loses more than two.

If UT beats Gumps that means the offense finally got untracked, and the only team left to challenge them would be Georgia. So they'd also only have two losses at most..

Again, not likely but plausible.....thoughts?

A logjam of 10-2 SEC teams would be the perfect shitstorm for a bloated conference that doesn't schedule enough conference games. I'm sure my math is probably wrong somewhere, but I see eight teams with a chance of all going 10-2 at the same time:

TN – Ark, UGA
UGA - Bama, OM
TX - UGA, A&M
A&M - ND, LSU
LSU - USCw, Bama
Bama - Vandy, TN
TX - UGA, A&M
OM - UK, LSU

Thing yall forgetting here is aggie and lsu has a loss OOC. Those don't count in sec standings.

Makes Atlanta and what happens next interesting.

Depending on who that 10-2 team that didn't go to the CCG is, that could definitely happen...especially if the CCG is a blowout.

That's why I'm not a big fan of the SEC continuing to have a CCG, but I understand as long as other conferences keep theirs, we have to do it as well.

Used to be LSU's S&C coach. He's the real deal, great haul for A&M.

Arkansas is going to shite all over these plans.

Alright, probably not, but we’ll steal a game or two that messes this all up a little.
