Fisher was also 10-2 against the SEC during his tenure at FSU

you mean he was 6-1 against Boom and McElwain, beat Urban Meyer his last year at Florida (8-5), 1-0 against South Carolina (9-5), 1-0 against Ole Miss (5-7), and 0-1 against Alabama

He's 12-11 against his own division since becoming an SEC HC.

Kelly is 3-4 against the SEC during his tenure at ND.

and 6 of those games were against LSU, Alabama, and Georgia. Jimbo is 3-7 against those teams as a head coach

When you look at the facts, it's pretty clear why LSU's AD offered Jimbo 104 million over 8 years. When Jimbo rejected the offer, he turned to Brian Kelly, the poor man's Jimbo Fisher.

When you look at the facts, it’s pretty clear we just beat you with our worst team in 2 decades led by Ed fricking Orgeron, and you’re stuck with Jimbo, who hasn’t won 10 games since he left Florida State to lead your shite arse program. Y’all haven’t won more than 10 games since 2012 you have nothing to do but troll. Good on you for poking your little head out after we beat your asses Saturday though. I’ll give you credit there.

I am glad O could go out with a win. Season was a busy anyway and the players liked him.

Frankly the real win is watching Jimbo pants Sark on the recruiting trail.

Don't know. He hasn't played a team this year as good as LSUs practice squad.

Same here. Would’ve been shitty to send him out with a loss after he helped orchestrate 2019. I’d relive 2020 and 2021’s crappy seasons all over again if it meant we could have a season like that every 3 years. Nothing can come close to touching it. Until Kelly leads us to something similar even then, it won’t have the same feel that 2019 did with Burrow’s story arc.

I think Jimbo has a real opportunity to build something special at A&M, but I doubt it’ll lead them to a title. We’ll see. I like Jimbo. I think he would’ve made a damn good coach at LSU if we’d have hired him in 2016.

So we are comparing Jimbos FSU to Kelly at ND

So Jimbo in the recruiting state of florida with no academic restrictions to Kelly's State of Indiana with serious academic restrictions

so one guy had to drive down the road to hit a 5 star guy the other had to get on a plane to go to another state!

Mack Brown had his pick of every top recruit in Texas, and it still took a once in a lifetime QB for them to win a title.

A lot goes into winning a title including luck. It’s not bad to enjoy what you have.

If my two year old son can grow up in Austin never hearing shite about being an Aggie fan because Jimbo is dominating whatever slap dick they call coach I will be happy with Jimbo’s time at A&M, title or no title.

Jimbo was 5-8 against final top 10 teams when A&M hired him.
Kelly went 3-18 against final top 10 teams at ND.

Aggies do understand that Jimbo got his arse kicked by a Coach that's been fired.

Jimbos tired old offense is done.

Poor man's Jimbo Fisher?
Career record:

Kelly, 263-96-2
Fisher, 117-39

P5 Record:

Kelly, 126-45 (with weak schedules)
Fisher, 117-39 (1/3 of time in the SEC West)

NC's:

Kelly, 0
Fisher, 1

Coaching identity:

Kelly - has called own offensive plays
Fisher - has called own offensive plays

The PPG scored by their respective offenses, going back to 2010, Fisher's first season as coach:

Kelly, 26.3, 29.2, 25.8, 27.2, 32.8, 34.2, 30.9, 34.2, 31.4, 36.8, 33.4, 35.3, ( average = 31.4 )

Fisher, 31.4, 30.6, 39.3, 51.6, 33.7, 31.7, 35.1, 27.8, 36.0, 29.5, 32.6, 29.3, ( average = 34.05 )

Recruiting ability - Fisher is a good bet to land the #1 class in the nation at A&M this cycle. He's a recruiting master. Kelly is known to not like recruiting and farm it out to assistants.

I stand corrected. The fan of Texas 8&4 is right.

Congrats.
