Thanks for what you do. If not for UB, I would not be where I am today.
I think we contributed to his entitlement more than anything. He had just finished the 10th grade and all the hype started building.

Gwinnett County (GA) has almost too many to name.

Robert and Denzel Nkemdiche- Ole Miss
David Pollack- UGA
David Greene- UGA
Jon and Matt Stinchcomb- UGA
Lorenzo Carter- UGA
Alvin Kamara- UT
Kelsey Griffin- USC
Vadal Alexander- LSU
Dillon Lee- Bama
Adonis Thomas- Bama
Dante Sawyer- USC
Jason Croom- UT
Darius Slayton- Auburn
George Rogers (Heisman winner)- USC
Rennie Curran- UGA
David Andrews- UGA
Kevin Minter- LSU
CJ Uzomah- Auburn

And countless others I can't think of at the moment. Gwinnett is the SEC of high school football.

It's sad how much talent leaves the state from that county alone.

Just in the next few years, Gwinnett will have some more CFB stars:

Kyle Davis, Josh Imatorbhebe, Derrick Brown, E.J. Price, Jaymest Williams, Dylan Singleton, Deangelo Gibbs, Chad Clay, Nigel Warrior, Isaac Nauta (just moved to IMG), Justin Mascoll, and Isaiah Pryor, just to name a few.

He's much younger than me, but Ben Grubbs and I went to the same high school.

Might not sound like much of a big deal, but it is when your average class size is < 100.

too many to list so I'll do my high school (starting in the mid to late 80s)

You got mine beat (Early 80s)...

Michael Oher - Ole Miss
Greg Hardy - Ole Miss
Head Coach Hugh Freeze - Ole Miss
Jim Mabry - Arkansas in late 80s

If there are more, I don't know them.

Oh yeah...

I am from Lancaster, SC which is 20 minutes from Rock Hill. That list would fill a page, but here are a few:

1. Ben Watson - UGA
2. Ko Simpson - SC
3. Jonathan Hefney - UT
4. Stephon Gilmore - SC
5. Jadeveon Clowney - SC
6. Justin Worley - UT

I am sure there are way more, but those are just the recent guys.

While I may have you beat on the numbers, MUS has had just three players make the NFL, a couple kids made practice squads or were invited to camp, and Tom Hutton was a punter in the NFL for a decent amount of time. Michael Oher and Greg Hardy speak for themselves

No Raymond Smoot? Seriously, guy was a fricking roadgrader coached by an a-hole at LSU. Went on to get a division ring at San Diego.
