I'm from Eutaw(Utah), Alabama, which is in Greene County. A lot is not know about "The Taw" or "The County", other than the rampant corruption. With all its flaws, this area has produced some notable players in the SEC.

A. Pettway - Alabama Basketball(His brother, Howard Crawford played for UAB)
Travis Daniels - Mississippi State Basketball
Bo Scarbrough - Alabama Football
C'Yanta Lewis - Florida Football

Greene County has a lot of raw talent. There are honestly a lot of kids Bo's size down there. Not all of them make it out, but we are truly happy for the ones that do.

Be on the look out for Amayis Mobley. He is 6'1 205 lbs and 14. He is C'Yanta's little cousin. He is all Bama though. His dad, a childhood friend of mine, died in a car accident a little over a year ago.

My high school didn't have any SEC players. Unfortunately our best player was the ga tech guy who intercepted the pass to win the UGA game last year.

Well you should stick to your high school . I was JaMarcus's counselor when he was in upward bound at South Alabama.

My hometown is very small. We have produced several D1 players. Most famous is Champ Bailey.

Johnny Manziel.

He was insane in High School. But I'll admit, I didn't think he could do it at the next level.

Anthony Jennings. I know one kid in my class went to bama and one to Vanderbilt, but I don't recall them ever playing a down.
