Yeah I mean don't get me wrong, I want to watch the whole thing burn to the ground and scatter the ashes into the wind, but nothing about LSU's stance right now is anything noteworthy. They're being sued for a massive sum of money. The last thing they need is two employees contradicting each other, inadvertently making a devastating admission, or making statements that box them in on certain points in the pending litigation.

Not this Trumphumper. I haven't watched Pro sports in a year. The Gators are on the chopping block next. Truth be told I was getting sour on sports anyway. It really hasn't been the same for me since the targeting rule was implemented, and let's face it the NBA sucks, it's basically a game of horse. Now MLB is trying to be woke.

This is a very important point.
From DeCuir's point of view, he really really really doesn't want Ausberry, Segar or Lewis airing their dirty laundry any more than will clearly happen with the Lewis lawsuit.
This is likely to get pretty nasty and I'm sure he would prefer to keep it in the legal arena and out of the media and Senate hearings as much as possible.

I concur there. It has sucked a lot of fun out of the game. I really wish they would put a 60 second clock on replay reviews. The replay delays alone get nauseating in a hurry. Watch a lot more games on the DVR now just to fast forward thru all the commercials and other delays.

I only watch the Broncos, Avs, and A&M football these days. I keep up with the other SEC teams via CBS sports app. Used to watch football all weekend long. Basketball is terrible, especially the NBA. I still love hockey though

I mean I've even seen multiple examples in the last 24 hours of people who reported sexual harassment or sexual assault and had the tables turned on them because they overshared and then authorities/defense team used that to threaten them back with charges of their own.
So telling the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth in an open forum might sound like a great idea but you have to very carefully think through how anything you lay out there, no matter how true it may be, can boomerang back at you.
That is why you absolutely need a good lawyer. The legal system is chock full of land mines. Most anybody can royally frick up their life in a hurry if they pick a fight with somebody with the resources to tear them apart in a courtroom and don't come prepared. Trump is/was a master of this a great many powerful people are.
