If LSU has to defend itself against a ridiculous lawsuit why would they attend and potentially jeopardize that lawsuit.

They're being sued for $50 million, so they aren't going to go on record with anything right now. The discovery should be really fun though.

It will be interesting to see if the LA media can turn the average fan against LSU. I'm doubtful.

It's just like everything else. The Trumphumpers say they will boycott and won't watch NFL, NBA, MLB. They'll still watch but they'll just bitch more.
They are already convinced LSU is SJWU and Wokeward is the leading cheerleader because he frowned on O fluffing Trump last year but said nothing about O openly endorsing the Dem governor for re-election.
But no matter what happens, they'll still watch.

No, what's bad is when your own newspaper blames people for not testifying after those people have been barred from voluntarily testifying by their employer.
It is blatantly unfair to run something that suggests they willingly chose not to testify when there's no way do know what they'd have done if given a choice by the university - but placing blame in the wrong place is the type of stupid that's the norm for reporting today.

That will be true for most but not all. I haven't watched an NFL game at home for 3 years now. The only parts of games I've seen are when I'm working and they're on at the fire station.
