We were 9th in the country for yards per carry but 111th in rushes per game. Why use your running game when you could snap to Bryce and hope for the best, which was basically O'Brien's game plan. I'll never get over 2021 TAM game where we have first and goal from the 4, throw 3 passes, kick a field goal, and lose by 4 to a 5 - 7 TAM.

There are so many inaccuracies in this post...

LSU is better than Alabama. LSU has a better QB, better OL and DL.

Idk about all that but BAMA has better depth where lsu is thin

LSU returns everyone including their star QB. Bama loses a ton, including a Heisman winning QB, stud at RB and one of the best DEs I've seen in a while.

We don't return everyone. We have question marks on defense, most notably in the secondary. We don't have a reliable kicker either. Bama has a more talented roster overall. If they get right at QB they can beat anyone they play, including Georgia.

On paper, LSU will be better and Bama won't be as good. LSU's schedule is easier as well. It will likely come down to the game between the 2 and it's in Alabama, but LSU typically wins more often at Bama than at home. All that to say, it's a toss up.

This is a wrong opinion.

I'm a little bullish on LSU specifically because of what we return on offense.

Little nervous about the back 7 on D, but that front should be nasty and deep enough to mask SOME deficiencies.

LSU has their trigger man and Bama don't know who their QB is..... I like our chances.

They've got the deepest roster. Not rocket science.

So... maybe one of you experts could clarify it for me; Why WILL Bama win the west this season? Or uh....not?

It's not that complicated. Overall team talent.

It doesn't mean they will win the west, but it's why people are predicting they will. Bama will have an incredibly talented roster. If the coaching changes are a positive and they find decent QB play, they'll be a great team. They also have the games against both teams who beat them last year at home rather than on the road.

IDK about TAMU

It was at aTm, Ethan Stewart made some absurd catches, our qb was hurt and couldn’t run, and our young and thin DL just couldn’t hold up.

This year will be different.

It also sounds like you really want LSU to win the west…almost like you’re afraid of playing Bama in the SECCG.

I mean the West is almost certainly going to be Bama vs LSU BUT LSU has a tendency of shitting the bed in some games. So I wouldnt be surprised to see LSU lose to Ole Miss and Miss St
