Hopefully he can recover in time for workouts for the NFL. I thought the kid was a scrappy competitor, and was just a good, balanced, larger skill player. He and McCalebb have been the main sparks for the Auburn offense in the post-$cam era.

I hate to say this, but he would have put up huge numbers at Bama with as much as McElwain loved throwing to TEs and since he spent a year as blocking back last year at AU.

Lutzie was a great player for us and seems like a good kid. I really hope he gets a shot in the NFL.

I def think he'll go to the NFL. Prob why he's ending the season now, and start focusing towards the combine. I think he'll be great at the next level... just like Witten.

I hate it for him. Was always my favorite AU player cause he played my HS position. Always seem to carry himself with class.

He was one of the top TEs in the draft but the injury and last year really didn't help him, I think the lack of blocking by the OL and the fact he had to help, and looked poorly due to people blocking his guys at times is not going to help him.
He'll do well but his draft stock wasn't helped.

I remember his frosh year and he was a monster and a real playmaker, hate to see that happen.
