Money is certainly part of the problem.

However. Utah’s roster cost an estimated $18-22 mln. Sooooo. It’s not everything.

We’re failing everywhere. Coaching, player evaluation, recruiting, leadership, administration. Everywhere.

Whats important to remember is Hunter interviewed for the Auburn, Ms State, and was on his knees begging or the aggy job, among every other P4 job opening and a SEC office opening the last 5 years.

He doesn't want to do the fundraising aspect of the job his biggest positive of him being AD is he's hands off of coaching, zero meddling. Is this a positive when you realize it because he doesn't want to be here? He is also one of the highest paid ADs in the country.

He only fought for the CFP position to try to elevate his status in getting another job. The FSU job is open, Chuck may be able to help you have a couch to sleep on until you get on your feet Hunter.

Coaching: mostly offense play calling. (Haven’t seen anything the HC would straight up effect ie: going for it on 4th)
Player Evaluation: I’ve been saying this since 2021 we needed a GM and we haven’t found a decent one yet.
Recruiting: we get good players, and other schools see them and they flee for more money.
Administration: been saying that since he balked at Kiffin and then gave Pittman a raise.
Leadership: we’ve been an I over the team since Petrino found the ditch.

There's something about our culture that is just rotten. We don't have a system players buy into nor do we have inspiring leadership, you know like Utah or Ole Miss.

I don't know a lot about what has been going on up there these last few years, but it feels like most of the players are only here because it's the only SEC school they could get or it's just about the money. Most, not all, but enough to where it makes a difference, it seems.

Oh I know. All truths. Just too many reasons to list why Yuracek should be fired. He’s not even worth taking the time to make a “Real Men of Genius” mock video like HDN.

Yep. The irony is he’s actively lobbing for a salary cap for the players and refuses to engage in bidding wars for football coaches. We’re too poor to hire a football coach that anybody wants yet he’s paid like a top 15 AD.

There is no way Ole Miss should be raising more money than us.

They don't rely on a few big boosters. Their donations are often smallish donations from a lot of their fanbase. They knew they had to get involved in order to be able to compete and Lane was their coach at the time, so they bought into it.

No one here in the last several years has inspired any confidence at all for people to contribute in meaningful numbers.

I've said it a million times, give me priority points for nil donations and I'll get on board. I have GOT to get something back out of it.

That was, for a long time, Broyles key to fund raising. A lot of small donors. But back the Eastern part of the state wasn't completely on economic life support and the field at Little Rock was good enough to play half our home games there and almost all our big games.

We aren't getting a huge Walmart donor after we pissed them off and I think the other big donors are a bit snake shy.

He also did the same with Briles, which is why he left. He didn’t want to pay him then got a raise that year.

The old money is gone in Southeast Arkansas.

We are a state with just a few mega rich donors and the rest have no money.

Not enough In the middle that can pick up the slack.

They backed a pick for Chancellor who favored STEM studies, we turned them down and hired another guy. Pray tell.

Not sure it could be done but if you could get 1 million Arkansans to donate $10 per month for a year and throe in some type of trinket reward for donating that would not kill the revenue you’d get 120 mil a year.

Lay out a breakdown 50% football, 25% basketball and baseball. Can only be spent on roster construction.

If your overhead was 20 mil, football gets 50 mil for Rosters, basketball and baseball get 25 each.

Its am easy concept to sell if somebody had the brain and salesmanship.

The quick cash would be a $100-250 athletic fee. UA is the only ones not to do it in the state and sec.

The tuition is the lowest in the SEC as well.

Fayetteville doesn't like the Waltons.

They believe they are the problem like many other billionaires.

Not our Fayetteville.
