I have disagreed with every bs and ridiculous take I have read you post on here about Texas given your bias as an Aggie. But this is spot on

We only went to a sports bar called Victory Lap and watched the other games. I’m still here in Austin so we’re going today. I can tell you UGA fans took over that bar. They had an F1 car in the courtyard it was pretty cool.

It also doesn't look very intimidating for an opposing team, the crowd was 'meh' and the field itself looks horrible.
I’ll never disagree that DKR sucks. The crowd did not seem very loud last night and UT probably has the smallest student section too which may be a good thing since they started throwing bottles last night. DKR doesn’t have the same aura that going to a game at Tiger Stadium has.

Franklins is worth the wait. Salt Lick is garbage, Terry Blacks is a must. Thank me later!

Franklins is good. Salt lick overrated

Salt Lick was so bad I boxed it and gave it to a homeless person downtown. This is coming from a guy who can eat gas station hot dogs in a hungry pinch.

Where did you sit? We absolutely had a band there. It was the smaller pep band but they were certainly there and playing music.
Did Texas put all of the UGA fans and band in the upper deck like they did to LSU in 2019? They got away with it then because it wasn't a conference game, but the SEC mandates that a certain number of visitor seats must be in the lower bowl. I couldn't tell from watching it on TV. I saw some red sprinkled throughout the stadium, but didn't see an area that looked like an actual visitor section.

Prep band was there. UGA fans were pretty loud on TV…..lots of UGA cheers heard. Texas fans and DKR is not an SEC caliber atmosphere. Wasn’t there but have been several times and it’s more ACC than SEC….

My beef with Texas’s stadium is it’s legit a massive concert jungle. Getting to your seat is a process and it’s so high up the views were horrible from where we sat.

The Texas in stadium experience is ridiculously over produced bland NFL light. Blasting AC/DC bad…..
But the stadium is well laid out and they sell booze everywhere.
Yeah a ton of Dawgs fans there last night. You could hear the UGA chants on the broadcast on the 2nd Touchdown. But ABC never showed that section of the stadium. Texas Fans are nice and cute. They don’t understand SEC hate

So what you’re saying is Texas fans consist of typical Texans? The description above is a typical Texan. Caucasian, Hispanic, Black, makes no difference, the description above can be applied to almost all Texans. They are like gang members who have only their inflated reputation and anytime it is sullied in the slightest way they have to over react.

See how long the line is first. You might have to wait 1-2 at this time. They run out fast as well. If you are in town a few days, then go. Bring a cooler if you can due to the wait time. It’s worth the wait for the brisket. If it’s a long line today, hit Terry Blacks. Almost as good. Buy a bottle or two of the sauce.

sucks that the Red Coat band was not there. Texas has the most bland bullshite bang in the nation.
2. Regardless of what UT fans say, there were a lot of UGA fans in attendance despite the claims of Texas fans on here. We held up our phones to do Krypton Fanfare despite having no band to actually play the music. It was at least 20% of the stadium.
4. Texas fans are trashy and booed every single time they had a penalty thrown against them.
5. They are NOT an SEC team. Their decibel meter may have gotten over hundred once. That coming after ther worst display of officiating I’ve seen since my first UGA game in1976.
6. They ran their dance team out on the field at least 10 times.
7. frick them, the officials
Okay

Why is UGA the only fanbase who spends energy talking about the number of fans at away games and taking over bars, etc. It’s just weird. You have a top tier program, right now the best, yet you act like it’s amazing yo7 have a large fanbase.
And the same thing I said about Bama beating UGA is the same thing I say today. Those wins and losses mean nothing. All that matters are the games in January for these top tier programs. Even the SEC Champ game means nothing. No one is happier that Bama beat UGA than Kirby. He knows he can use that come January.
