You threw against air with Arkansas. The windows were 10 yards.

Not getting in. Would need a ton of huge upsets elsewhere.

I think TX at 3 losses would be in front of Oregon with 2 losses if WA upsets Oregon. Would they let them in over a 1 loss BYU if BYU got hammered by TT again the Big 12 game? They might as SMU would have maybe been left out last season if they got beat bad in their game.

Well, if the new polls are any indication Texas is an afterthought for the playoffs. Passed by Michigan in the AP

TX will be in front of Miami, Utah. Michigan and Vandy with an upset of A&M. BYU is probably the argument in that situation just like SMU last season. Oregon with a loss to WA likely falls behind TX in that situation also.

I’m calling it right now, if they beat A&M by 10 points they’ll be in. They’ll jump whoever they need to jump (Vandy).

The 5 point argument from the committee to leave Vandy as the 1st out:
1. Texas best Vandy

2. Nobody finished stronger than Texas with their win against an undefeated A&M.

3. We made a choice not to punish Texas for scheduling a big time game to start the season. If they would have done what Vandy and most other teams do they’d only have 2 losses and be the top ranked 2 loss team in the nation.

4. Their QB situation has much improved.

5. They dominated our #8 team Oklahoma…and Texa$ is good for buisness.

Which one of these teams ahead of 8-3 Texas are they going to jump if they all win out?

I can’t believe it’s even a topic anyone is actually seriously entertaining. I get why Sark and anyone associated with Texas is making the case, it’s their job in a way, but anyone else taking it seriously at all is low T.

I'm not starting this thread to talk X's and O's about the game. Let's imagine that the sips win on Friday. What kind of chaos would they still need to happen to sneak into the CFP? Is the Florida loss an albatross?

I’m not saying we are going to win…

But if we do beat aggy, just think how many eyeballs that Hollywood Arch would bring to all of the CFP watching television screens?

Remember, money is all that matters in the new NIL era…

Do you really think that the ESPN / Disney / UT Big Cigar / Sankey industrial complex is gonna keep Arch, Matthew McConaughey, and our Bevo out? That would not be how the world works now…

Isn’t this exactly the kind of shite that aggy worries about??
