Self imposed 10 scholarships plus an additional 3 more.

The bowl ban hurts but per NCAA rules, only seniors can transfer and avoid sitting out for the one year ban that will occur in 2018.

All things considered, I'll take it.

NCAA took into account the self imposed penalty of hiring Matt Luke and had mercy

We got lucky imo. It could have been a lot worse. Glad we can finally put this NCAA mess behind us.

Here's the list of eligible transfer players:

QB Jordan Ta'amu
RB DK Buford
WR DaMarkus Lodge
OL Javon Patterson

OL Sean Rawlings
OL Jordan Sims
DT Gerrald McDowell
DE Victor Evans
DE Markel Winters
LB Detric Bing-Dukes
CB Javien Hamilton
CB Ken Webster

CB Cam Ordway
S CJ Moore
S Zedrick Woods

I've bolded the players who are legit contributors. None of them are All-SEC caliber by any means.

I don't see a ton of that group leaving, either.

It does. The penalties released aren't "in addition to" our self imposed penalties. Anything we have self imposed is taken out of the punishment

Yeah doesn't sound too bad. Kinda glad it turned out that way.

I wish Freeze would have gotten dinged but oh well.

FWIW, more and more of the articles written do seem to be indicating that the 13 is the total scholarships... if so, I may be with you.. not that the "results" were worth it, but it really doesn't end up being that big of a deal to the university short of the 5 years worth of shite PR.

Winning ....Bigly ...13 is not big deal

Ole Miss only has 45-50 players that can contribute ...yearly
