Yet I can name 50 players on the 1982 LSU team that beat Alabama team 20-10 in Birmingham. I also remember Bear Bryant saying it was the worst physical beating his team had taken in years and promptly announcing he would retire at the end of the season.

I must be a medical oddity? Or maybe Norwegians consume too much a vodka affecting their long-term memory?

I'm 60 plus and I remember the OM/Tenn game in 1969 and the score was 38-0 OM. Archie showed them what a bunch "mules" looked like.

Oh, and I remember exactly where I was when I heard Elvis had died as well as John Belushi.

My wife accuses me of forgetting things she said all the time, she just hasn’t figured out that I don’t listen to her….

Considering I'm 66 and can vividly remember things from years and years ago, I'd say this thread is quite comical.

I am 72 and remember in the early 70’s Bear Bryant could not beat Notre Dame. That was before Bama lowered their athletic admissions standards so they could win and get ESPN money which came on the scene in 1980. Beginning of the end of true college football

I just read a study in the AAAS Science Journal in which over 500 elderly participants, in Norway, were tested for memory retention. The surprising results were that individuals who were 60 years of age or older had absolutely no ability to remember anything at all past a time-frame of 6 years. This means that almost 100% of LSU posters on this board can no longer even remember the best season of football on Planet Earth that LSU had in 2019. How sad is that?

So I’m going to trust your scientific interpretation of this study? How does Norway compare to the hot fat arse U.S. South? Perhaps Norwegian senior brains have been chilled too long…

That said, good troll as it’s funny to see the triggered old people on this thread… I’ve suspected that many of y’all are as old as dirt…
