LSU isn't going to win the SEC Title, problem solved.

That's all well and good but has nothing to do with what I posted.

What would it be if LSU wins? I know lsu would go to sugar bowl but would Alabama or Tennessee get bumped down all the way to the citrus as a 10 win top 8 team or would one still go to the orange and one to the cotton bowl? I assume then Ohio state goes to Rose and PSU gets the other at large cotton bowl bid. I don’t see a 10 win top 8 SEC team getting snubbed out of a NY6 bowl.

Then the citrus would be either MSU or USCe. Right now that would leave MSU as the highest ranked in CFP ratings so we should get citrus in that case

ETA nvmd I swore I saw us at 21 and USCe 25 but they’re 19 and we are 24 so it would be USCe to Citrus and we would go to Reliaquest

Same and I got along great with your fans at the Sugar Bowl. That matchup is great for college football and we both get to find out what our backup QBs are like in all likelihood.

Absolute garbage that a team can usurp the tie in rules and "select" their preferred NY6 Bowl game.

I was really wanting Tennessee vs Clemson in the Orange. I was really thinking about staying in Ft Lauderdale for the week. I really like it there. This seems like a Tennessee thing to happen.

So the Rose Bowl has the right to choose its teams but the Orange and Sugar don’t. You’d think Tennessee would be first choice due to sheer ticket sales

Think about it. None of the teams playing will have their star player. Hooker, Young, Stroud etc. May be a totally different team.

Have UGA beat Michigan, Bama beat OSU, and another SEC school beat Clemson would be a great way to end this terrible season.

I disagree. Ohio State played in Rose Bowl last year, and even played Washington (presumed Pac 12 team) in the Rose Bowl 4 years ago. Ticket sales and fan interest are benefited by diversifying the teams

Chuckling at the insult to ohio state.

Surely there is something written somewhere that allow Ohio State to challenge that if they wanted to. Maybe they too want a change of scenery but to me, sounds like Ohio State would deserve if they wanted it. But, maybe Rose Bowl has complete autonomy as to who they invite.
