I don't know if we take pride in that because it was forced on us by a police presence. I think we stormed the field once or twice in the early 80's and they nipped that shite in the bud real quickly.

Not only that. Let me preach on it. Teams storm the field when they Beat Bama because its the highlight of their year. Their Super Bowl.
Tennessee hasn't done anything since the last CENTURY. I don't foresee any additions to their trophy case anytime soon in this one. So when you do manage to win one, we'll take your 500K. They should raise it to a cool million.
We played for the conference title just last year. Bama will be just fine.

I could understand storming the field if they won on a field goal in the last seconds of the game, but they were beating us for the entire four quarters.

I guess it's just that Vol fans were so excited. They've only won 3 of the last 5 times they've played Bama and their record against Bama in Neyland stadium this decade is only 3-1 (if you consider year zero the first of the decade...if not, they are 3-0).
