I have been a Bama fan since the days of Pat Trammell. When Bear began kicking Yankee butt. And I ain't gonna lie, I was pulling for the Tide yesterday.

But Finebaum needs to understand he simply can't be a "homer" on a national network, which is what The SEC Network is.

During the pregame he said openly: "We have owned Mississippi State on the road."

That, my SEC brethren is totally uncalled for. "There should be no "we" in any broadcaster. He might as well been wearing a Tide Jersey.

While we are on the subject, Musburger is bringing Clemson into far too many of his tedious monologues.

The SEC Network is a wonderful thing, and I just don't want its credibility questioned. Bama does not need this monkey claiming kinship. It is the greatest program of all time.

He's a radio host. Has a lot more room for stuff like that. He can be slightly biased.

I know and there it's okay. But not on national television.

I think the SEC Network knew who they were hiring, and I don't think they wanted him to change.

Honest answer, you're proof that the SEC Network knew what they were hiring. As said by the poster above me.

You're talking about it. If you're talking about it, others are talking about it. It's all to get ratings. It's exactly why Herbstreit, Fowler, or Corso will say some stupid off the wall shite.

If people are talking about it, other people will want to know what's going on.

First, I doubt seriously you were a Bama "fan". Second, if a broadcaster turns you then you werent a real fan. Brando doesn't go 2 minutes without talking LSU and Cam Cameron being the next coming of Bill Walsh. I don't see them jumping ship. You may have been "indifferent" to Bama but I don't believe for a second you were a fan. Not at all.

Nothing attracts viewership quite like someone that's a bit polarizing. Finebaum's old radio show attracted attention from folks that claimed to never listen to it.

Would some of you rather have a milquetoast like Bob Ley?

It's OK for Finebaum to be a Bama homer because he's always been honest about it. What I hate are the pundits who claim to be unbiased while they advance their agenda.

Lou Holtz claims to be dispassionate an unbiased regarding Notre Dame while going to insane lengths to prop up the Irish.

The stupidest fan base in the SEC.

Call "Poco" and learn how to spell "Cimarron."
