The rumor in Big 12 circles is that Cody Campbell is in negotiations with Patrick Mahomes’ agent to get him back to Texas Tech. Since he left early to enter the draft he has two seasons left to play in Lubbock.

Why would you think this is a joke? Cody Campbell is irate about how the Brendan Sorsby situation played out and is willing to spend any amount to get Mahomes. Campbell is also in talks with Michael Crabtree and Wes Welker to see if they have any gas left in the tank.
