Oxford is trash and everyone who says they like it is lying

The Square is like someone took the shittiest block out of 1920’s New Orleans and stuckk that shite in the middle of no where. William Faulkner was a drunken bastard who stayed in Oxford only because of severe Stockholm syndrome. The University isn’t even technically in the city of Oxford. They literally had to create a fricking point on the map called University, MS because they realized that Oxford was such a fricking mistake. Square books is a fire hazard. They had fricking double decker busses imported because they thought people would actually enjoy seeing their dumbarse city but the busses themselves have actually become the biggest attraction in the whole fricking city. The University itself reminds me of a 1A private school and the Grove has less trees than Toomer’s Corner. The Walk of Champions is a fricking farce and a monument to mediocrity and racism. The best restaurant in town is IHOB. The whole town got so bored of itself that they all decided to start wearing powder blue unironically. The golf course would be better served converting to a Par 3. But even with all that I still think Oxford is the most suitable town for a major university in the state of Mississippi.

This is pretty funny. It's also a little sad because under a thick exterior layer of sarcasm, there is some truth.
Telling is the fact that Oxford's two most famous residents, William Faulkner and Edward Orgeron, both eventually vacated Oxford for greener pastures, with Faulkner going to Charlottesville and Orgeron moving into the heads of Rebel fans everywhere.

Orgeron liked our chicken on a stick.
True fact.

are the covers too expensive for your trailer park income? poor
I’m a current student and I love the University and town, I’m sorry you think otherwise

Oh this is rich here...somebody that undoubtedly loves Tuscaloosa...lives in Mobile..and thinks some other city, one with a very strong reputation, is trash. I lived in Mobile for 4 years. Housing market sucks. Crime is astronomical and it's everywhere. It's polluted and stinks. It's claim to fame is the fact that it celebrated mardi gras before New Orleans and still does (but nobody gives a shite). School system is shite. The entire Mobile metro area is the metastasized cancer of Prichard. Tuscaloosa is basically the same but without mardi gras...or decent food.
Maybe Oxford isn't worth a shite either...all I know is that someone that thinks highly of Mobile and/or Tuscaloosa isn't the one to declare it

Sorry, I love me some Dreamland.
Me and Mrs. Semjase try to stop at The D on the way back from every Florida Panhandle beach trip since it's only a few minutes north up on I-65 off I-10.
BTW, frick that Alabama Beach BS; we go directly to FLA to avoid most of the Neandernecks. (Pen-Nav-FWB-Des-30A)

Ole Miss fired Orgeron because he failed but LSU hired Orgeron even though they knew that he failed.

It’s like a worse version of what we did
