They're the only team that concerns me. When they have a decent team, and we play them in JHS, it's usually a nightmare scenario

Yeah, I'm not a big fan of that. I wonder what shenanigans they'll have in store this time? Disabled elevators? Disabled headsets? Oil slicked field? No power in the visitor locker room? Cut the brakes on the visiting team bus?

What you got? Game 3, game 5, or game 6?

Eh. I think most of them are firmly on earth. they are just excited....as they should be. They have fresh blood and excitement.

That said, they will get a pretty good idea where they stand against Penn State. That will be their first real test, and I'm sure they are anxious to find out what they have, too.

Auburn alter.

That's what kills us on here. All the alters. They just want to stir stuff up.

We didn't almost choke against Akron. Gus would have never done that so its already improvement.

I wasn't under the impression AU fans were expecting great things so not sure how they'd come back down to earth. They're already there.

1. I don't even know who they play off the top of my head, but I still bet it's 1.

I'm judging by the number of threads on the first page of the rant with Auburn fans beating their chests.

Well right now the only Auburn threads on the first page are:

-this one
-another started by an Alabama fan
-Jordan Palmer (not an AU fan) saying Nix is good
-Harsin having players carry the American flag out of the tunnel

It’s not the Auburn fans with unrealistic expectations. It’s the Bammers who want them to have unrealistic expectations. Admit this, at least.

They're either gonna lose 5 games starting with Penn St. or they're going to go undefeated. You never know with Auburn...

Just when you think they are dead, they pull off a good season. And when they have high expectations, they typically underperform. They are consistently inconsistent.

You might want to wear a diaper next weekend, in case Auburn beats the brakes off Penn State. Your butthole already is bracing.

I like how this post got 9 downvotes, yet they've done all those things. Well, the last one is only sort of. They greased the tracks so a train couldn't brake, which is the 19th c. equivalent.

We enjoy the roller coaster. It’s a fun ride. Much better than the carousel.
