The okies commenting on this forum. They do not mention that they were rejected by PAC 10, when they wanted to join them by themselves. I guess they are just jealous.

If OK ever decides to wean itself off of horn teat, they could probably find themselves in a decent conference.
That’s a big IF, though.
I wish ‘em well.

That's the truth SEC bro. Therefore, little brother Okie Lite is sucking the same teat.

F texass! And if the SEC even just flirts with texass, it will be a MAJOR mistake. Don't go there.

This Missourah boy (born in TN) is damn glad to be in the SEC. Best thing ever for Mizzou athletics. Thanks for having us. Whip all the sh*t on us you want, we'll take it and dish it back.

Mizzou and A&M whiny brats still beating their chests about their dynamic move to the SEC

In lieu of any of the exodus teams lack of achievements in their new homes, all they really have is reliving the glory days of fleeing the BIG XII for cash, and counting down the days until the BIG XII collapses, which isn't going to come.

At least we are in a real conference. What has the okies done since the expansion? Get beat by Texas A&M and Georgia in a bowl game.

There one more thing that has not been brought up. When the Big12 was created, Nebraska wanted to have 1 permanent cross division rival game like the SEC has. That way they can keep playing the okies every year. Know why it did not happen? The okies said no to it! Their schedule would be to hard. That was their excuse. It was more important to them to have an easier schedule than to keep a tradition alive. That is ever thing you need to know about the okies. They were too cowardly to play Nebraska every year.

Read the entire article and as a a fellow expansion team, it really drove home, again..bc we're well aware of how fortunate we are to be here, how utterly magnificent it is to be among THE best teams in the nation. The sheer fact that there is no exit fee or penalty by the SEC should one ever lose their fricking mind and want to voluntarily demote themselves to a second rate conference speaks for itself. We know about intraconference bullshite from our mistake of being a founding member of the ACC and the frickery that went on with the whole Tobacco Road politics that ruled within the ACC. Before my time, but what went on and why we told them to kiss our arse is well known to all Gamecocks.

Yeah, y'all will catch hell as the "new guys." South Carolina and Arky were the "new guys" and had to go thru the hazing for over 20 years ..so don't look for y'alls to be over any time soon. Hell, y'all coming along took the heat off of us so we thank y'all for that.

And like Mizzou and aTm, leaving behind a hated, bitter rival that you can point at and laugh your arse off at while they rot in a shite for an excuse conference is glorious. You know deep down they're jealous as frick that y'all are here and they aren't and it's priceless. We get to do it every day with Clemson. And as adamantly as Texas, Oklahoma, K-State and Clemson will protest their jealousy, the fact that they flock to an SEC site says it all.

frick 'em all.

Ehh, I’m still not on board with the Mizzou pickup. Never was. Geographically and culturally they just don’t fit. Besides the fact that all their history is with Big 12 teams and Kansas. Were we really benefitting from their addition or was it just a filler team to get to 14?

I think if there was ever a readjustment, Mizzou should look to swap places with WVU. WVU also does not fit geographically or culturally with the Big 12

The thing you paid $75 million to your coach for? A trip to the playoffs?

WVU doesn't hold the academic standard that the SEC would take in an expansion school.
The geography makes sense.
They have good athletics.
But there is an academic element to these alliances. A&M and Mizzou meet all 3 buckets (geography, athletics, and academics).

You forgot TV sets. Mizzou added a lot of value to the SECN.

I think the reality among most SEC fans is they don't feel very threatened by Mizzou or A&M. "Welcome to the table, have a turkey leg, a goblet of wine, and allow US to rail you instead of Texas and Oklahoma. Here's your money!"

The Mizzou and Aggie fans gladly accept their new roles and gleefully reach down for the SEC soap. LOL

Neither of those teams were much more than .500 programs in the Big 12 and neither are much more in the SEC. They prostituted themselves out for more money and their fans (and boards) would rather take it in the chute for cash than to play for championships.

The same can be said for Nebraska and Colorado.

Meanwhile, new arrivals, TCU and WVU, are making more money and consistently ranked in the Top 10 most years, with an eye on a Final 4 appearance.

Cry on, douche bags!

The SEC in general and MU and A&M specifically really own you don't they.

The more you protest the more it proves you wish to hell your shitty team was SEC like MU and A&M.

Have fun in your dust bowl conference land grabber.

Just as the SEC feels about OU and Texas as we repeatedly break your hearts. Two shitty teams playing in a dumpster fire of a conference. Btw didn’t A&M beat the almighty Okies the last time y’all met? Since the Big12? last won a NC (2005), four SEC teams have won a combined 9 NCs. Your conference sucks as does your university. Get off of A&M and Mizzou’s diks.

Yeah, they own us!

Mizzou with zero Big 12 championships (ever)

Aggies with one Big 12 championship - 20 years ago

Lot of dumb in this thread. Get smarter.

One thing that needs to be understood is this: Texas and OU have absolutely zero respect for aggy and/or Mizzou. And we never have. I understand the rationale for why both schools left the Big 12 and frankly don’t fault them for it.

But the thing that doesn’t resonate is the fact that aggy now believes it is a big time program, worthy of national acclaim, solely based on the merit of the teams they now play in the SEC. It’s astounding to think a program could expect so much respect simply because they are a doormat in a better conference.

Texas and OU hate each other. I mean we frickING HATE each other going back generations. But that hate is built on countless important games with high stakes and national implications (maybe not so much lately but we are working on it).
Aggy was always the sad little retarded brother looking out through the window. We didn’t hate aggy, but he sure hates us.

I have thoroughly enjoyed watching them reveal themselves to their new conference mates these last few years. Like butterflies from a douche cocoon, they have spread their wings and become the least respected team in this league as well. It is no wonder that this board is littered with sad/gay/hopeless/retard aggy threads. Water is wet and aggy gon’ aggy.

Carry on.
