I was playing with a spreadsheet was for the fun of it and this is what I came up with for the pods and permanent rivals.

My understanding is that each team will have a permanent rival in each pod. You will play every team in your pod. That is 3 games. You will also play every team in another pod. Which is 4 games. You will rotate the pods each year so that you will play everybody in the conference at least once every ...
