This was in a thread that got anchored for some reason but I'm reposting it for anyone who did not read it. It brought a lot of things to light after digesting it.

All I can say is frick Texas and Oklahoma.

We think Bama thinks their shite dont stink? I cant imagine dealing with these motherfrickers and their entitlement.

Glad Mizzou and A&M got out of there.

Texas and Oklahoma can wither away and have fun playing Kansas State and Texas Tech every year.

frick them.

Actually I did deal with them once, when they talked shite to us in New Orleans for the National Championship Game and how much of a joke the SEC was and how we were about to get fricked up by a blue blood and LSU went and whooped their arse.

I was glad to see A&M jump over. My jury is still out on Mizzou but it might take just a little longer to get used to. All in all I'm ok for the time being. A&M was a natural fit though, besides, they are a lot more like traditional SEC fans than Texas could ever be. That would have been a disaster.

The Big 12 is a perfect example of a failed conference.

Big 12 = Big University of Texas and 9 other schools. frick Texas. Longhorn network but no big 12 network says it all

I remember right before everything started I was on a plane with an OU booster. He notice I was an Ag and started the conversation. He said after the redistribution of big xii funds it was supposed to be UT then OU and A&M tied with the second highest payout. Well when the money got distributed it wasn’t even close to what the percentage breakdown was supposed to be. Everyone in the big xii cash our was cut except ut and in some cases in half. OU boosters wanted out real bad, but they were tied down by Ok State. He told me not to be surprised if the SEC push happened again and A&M was going to be gone. There’s was a lot of Aggie/OU boosters cross talking during this time. Then he went on talking about how OU boosters were trying their best to find a way to divorce ok state. That if they did they might be able to sell a big 10 or SEC move to fans since they’d regain Nebraska every year. Then he said that the current generation wouldn’t appreciate bringing back the Nebraska rivalry but a good portion of the money would. He then speculated that the SEC was going to grab V.Tech or Virginia. It was crazy times and I thought this dude was full of shite. Now I owe him a drink, probably couldn’t afford what he drinks though.

I was really surprised about how cocky and then whiny little bitches Oklahoma fans were. They are Alabama cocky and somehow Arkansas whinny at the same time. and worst losers you have ever seen. Zero fun to be around before, during and after the game. Total class A pricks.

Then the Ohio Stare Natty, everyone was expecting same shite, and they were cool as shite. Good natured, could take ribbing and fun to hang with before, during and after the game. I remember some of them saying, we knew you guys were going to be tough, and that SEC champ is real deal, but we came here to have a good time and we still are.

I never had any problems with Texas fans, but if they are anything like bama fans frick them all

Damn. That article prompted me to Google search that led me to a couple of threads on sip discussions boars. Reading those is like being on Mother Jones or Democratic Underground. It's as if they have managed to create their own reality distortion fields.

One of my faves:
quote:

Well that is true. It is what Byrne did not say that is important. The Longhorns wanted to do the LHN but were worried that they would not be able to come up with enough programming. Texas approached aTm about partnering with them and Byrne thought Texas was up to something so he rejected the proposal and their half of the $300mm. The bigger issue with playing aTm is that everyone in the conference knows what a deceitful piece of shite he is/was. aTm pushed and voted not to go to the Pac 12 and take the new Fox deal. aTm took the signing bonus money and promised to be one of the anchors for the conference. The entire time aTm was negotiating with the SEC and lied to the face of Dodds, Powers, the commissioner of the Big 12 and the other conference Presidents and ADs. aTm left the Big 12 and cried about having to pay an exit penalty or give back the Fox TV money.

I mean, damn.

We are happy to be here too. No doubt we are a little "different" than other schools but we relish that.

Right, at least Bama will give you some respect.

The Okie fans basically told me in 2003, “we are Oklahoma, deal with it”
They didn’t even consider LSU as having a good team.

frick Oklahoma and their entitlement.
