I think OU starts 6-0 then reevaluate after that. Michigan will be bringing a true freshman quarterback to Norman in game 2 to play against that defense. And Texas hasn't beaten OU in back to back seasons since 2009.

I can’t imagine how pissed OU fans must be when they look at their intro to the SEC schedules compared to what Texas was gifted.

Don't care. Get the teams on the field and let's play.

I think Vegas is looking at the facts that Oklahoma lost an All-American caliber linebacker, doesn't have any projected All-Americans on defense, and didn't recruit extremely well on the defensive

This statement means you don't know shite about Oklahoma.

Took the over. It seems like no one is paying attention to the improvements they’ve made this offseason. Fully expect them to be a 9 win team this year.

9 wins will be tough with that schedule but I think they were very unlucky with injuries last year and have improved significantly on offense.

7-8 wins and an upset over a big name team again IMO.

They have a new QB and OC who looked good playing an independent schedule, tons of transfers trying to gel, and a great DC still trying to cosplay as a head coach.

It’s a tough schedule. Some teams have to lose. I’m not saying they’ll go under, but the over is far from a lock.

OU will only be favored in one of these games they need to win 4 of. @ Auburn and depending what time it is that game could be a loss.

6.5 is a nice number looking at the schedule. 3 sure wins and 9 toss-ups.

I thought 8-5 but who knows. Vegas wants 50/50 so they estimate the public's opinion usually.

We don't play @Auburn, but who's counting anyway?

Heard all about that Jordan Hare voodoo last year. All I saw was Sooner Magic.

So… SEC schedules are not some incredible “grind” that’s impossible to navigate like everyone said before Texas joined?

Also, a big difference is OU has had to play against 11-win Texas, while Texas had to play against 6-win Oklahoma. Makes a pretty big difference

Texas can’t play themselves

Edit: lots of downvotes but no one seems capable of refuting anything I said

We are also fully aware that when we go to 9 games/pod or whatever, Texas will get Vandy or Ken as a perm rotation.
You genuinely believe that Texas will be given Vandy or Kentucky instead of one of OU, A&M and Arkansas?

Why has texas only won back to back years once in the last 25 years?

lol damn, even when you try to talk trash you’re incorrect

Also, what does what happened in 2003 have anything to do with the two schools as SEC institutions?

I mean, if my team was worse than Navy I guess I’d deflect too

This is such a tired out, loser mentality. I truly wish we could trade schedules so we didn’t have to hear this whining nonstop from team sec moving the goalposts. Sound like a bunch of libs.

Good luck with Oklahoma having 21 days between Auburn - texas games.

I'm sure you think going and playing in the swamp and turning around having to play in Dallas the next week is going to be easy.
