You lost to unranked Florida. After starting season ranked 1 and picked to win it all. Another over-ranked shorthorn team lol. “Doing less with more” is a hell of a motto. Maybe you need to focus on your coach having peaked. The slide will be glorious.

the rest of the SEC is happy about this. We all feared yall might fire him after a bad year and get a top tier coach

So who is this "top tier coach" that you speak of? I'm not sure there's another Cignetti out there right now. But for now, I am glad they extended him, only because he has had trouble with UT.

Imagine paying a coach like Sark to set on national tv and complain the reason they didn’t make the playoffs is because they played Ohio state …. he said it was a straight face totally ignoring the fact he needed two ots to beat a kentucky, miss st and got face planted by Florida . Sark is one of the most overrated coaches in the sec . His offenses are not great … even with paid talent .

Considering OU has dibs on shorthorns the past 27 seasons and considering OU has only had 3 head coaches in that time. And never fired any.

How many coaches has shorthorns fired in last 27 years? Let’s also consider shithorns always have top classes in comparison and do less with more.

You may want to sit this one out and try to keep your most recent HC from getting fired.

Dude! Stop while you're behind

Bob Stoops retired

Riley snaked out and has never sniffed playoffs in the land of fruits and nuts. Gifted a title team by Bob he pissed it away and got worse every year.

Venables is still here and took us to playoffs last year while your coach lost to Unranked Florida.

How many coaches did shorthorns fire in last 27 seasons? Still waiting for that answer you must be ignoring it for a reason. Maybe our stability in HC is why we’ve been better than texass for those 27 years. And the fact you are dedicating so many posts tells me you are worried to face us healthy finally.

You are melting over us extending our HC

Sark is 3-2 vs OU and could very well be .500 vs them after October let's stop pretending like he is some great coach.

The revision history on this is hilarious.

Remember all the memes about that doctor that performed a miracle and got Mateer ready in 3 weeks? BV and Mateer both said he felt great and was ready to go

They freaking invited him to a game and gave him a plaque. For what? For doing a 10 minute finger surgery that he does 20 times a day?

Then Mateer plays and looks like shite the rest of year and all the fans say, “what did you expect, he was hurt”

I mean I wouldn't say that he did start to heal up and get better. He won at Tennessee and at Alabama after all.

The problem is, we've been "really good" under Sark several times. The guy is fricking lost when we play teams with elite talent. I don't know how many Georgia or OSU games our fans need to see to understand that he will NEVER get it done here.
And yes, he is going to lose to OSU again, in Austin. It's just who he is.

He could fix a lot of it with a dedicated OC and became an actual HEAD coach. He won't. He's far too arrogant.

I don't like being right about this. I'd love to believe he has learned how to prepare the team for those games and game plan to win them. I just know he hasn't.

I guess Alabama rolled out a bunch of scrubs in Tuscaloosa.

Sark should go out and kick field goals himself instead of having Bert Auburn choke multiple times in the SEC championship.

Sark should also play saftey so tOSU doesn’t house a 80 yard screen pass in the final seconds before halftime.

Jesus you people are insufferable.

I think it's going to be one of the best games in the long history of the rivalry. I do believe Texas will have one of its best teams. Venables will have his best team thus far. Should be epic.

He finna get paid!!

He's an interesting case study. Venables obviously meant a lot to Clemson all those years, given what they've done without him. Not very flashy, if you wanted to compare him to a Lincoln Riley, but blue-collar through and through. I suppose what teams want these days, with so much chaos and confusion surrounding the sport, is certainty. Venables' teams are at least predictable.
