UGA has won 9 in a row and 20 of the last 21. OU isn’t hotter than that.

2022 Ole Miss was the preseason #1 team in the nation. They just had a very sluggish period and then reminded everyone late why they were ranked so high to begin with.

This year's OU team wasn't expected to do anything.

And it's too early in the game.

D1 had them at 5
Perfect Game had them at 6
Baseball America had them at 9

Who had them at #1?

no one knows shite i see people spouting how they were the last team in the ncaa field When in fact they were one of the final four teams selected … ncaa doesn’t publish last team out for baseball per espn.

Ga is pretty damn hot. I don’t think any lead is safe against them

I don't recall any preseason #1s, but they were ranked #1 early in the season. They put up a billboard in Madison.

They’ve had a heck of a lucky draw, they haven’t faced the best arms of the best teams. May work out for them, or it may not

A lucky draw? Playing the national #2 seed and ACC Champion on the road, then playing the Big 12 Champion on the road, then facing the SEC Champion last night. Tell me how's that's lucky?

“Lucky draw” lol

They beat #2 Georgia Tech twice (ACC champ)
They beat #17 Kansas twice (Big 12 champ)
They beat #7 Alabama
They beat #3 Georgia (SEC champ)

Just stop. They shut down the two biggest offenses in the country this year, Tech and UGA. Last night that freshman pitcher was throwing 92mph fastballs that no one could hit. That shouldn't happen, but it did.
