Top heavy teams:

Georgia
OU

Next tier:
Florida/A&M/Auburn/Texas (subjective, changes based on who’s good, except for Vandy)

You pick one team from the top, one from the next tier, and two of the teams left

Bro, you better move UF to the top tier. They have represented the East way more than any other team.

A source w/ direct connection to discussions tells me Texas and OU to the SEC has, "a lot of momentum."
Texas administrators approached the SEC and it was discussed at length at the last SEC meetings.

I'm all for adding Texas and Oklahoma if we can please dump Mizzou and add Clemson, Georgia Tech, or Florida State in their place. Mizzou isn't a cultural fit, which is something our conference maintained from 1933-2012. They must go.

Doesn’t make sense because Texas won’t have near the influence as they do in the B12

Oklahoma will lose their almost guaranteed playoff bid every year

I was under the impression that OU and OSU were inseparable but apparently I'm mistaken. I'm not sure I like this move but screw it, they're going to do what they want regardless

The GOR for the big 12 does not end until 2025. You guys are jerking each other off over nothing.

Would we do 4 divisions with a 2 round playoff of all 4 division winners? Would divisions be on close proximity/region or more to try to balance them? 9 game conference schedule with your 3 division opponents and 2 from each of the other 2 divisions and 3 OOC games or do 12 game conference schedule playing 3 from each division and no OOC?

West division: OU Texas Arky A&M (b12 division)
South: LSU MSU Ole Miss Florida
North: Missouri Tennessee Kentucky Vandy (lol)
East: Alabama Georgia Auburn USCe

That would match up some solid division rivalries too

So Texas drags its nutless sack after big brother and begging for attention. Because of Herman and Strong your trench recruiting is behind about 5 years and all the high level skill positions in the world can't help you.
The west would run a train on your asses for a few years.

The sad part is, you probably actually believe that aggy is big brother to Texas.

Reality indicates otherwise, and it’s not even remotely close.

Fine by me. Texas is a cancer. I'd rather not deal with them anymore.

There's no way Texas will relinquish its total control of any conference it would end up in, so that kills any idea of this.

You're thinking about it from the standpoint of 10 years ago. College football has changed dramatically since then. NIL and the new transfer rules have all but guaranteed the P5's secession from the NCAA. Texas and Oklahoma are simply trying to get on board the train before it leaves the station.

The SEC would be more powerful than the NCAA at that point. We should just make our own rules.

Who decided there was going to be a football season last year?

I couldn't be more enthusiastic about keeping UT out of the conference. They destroy everything they touch.

If we're going 16 then OU + adding a east school (I vote UNC) I can tolerate.

SEC semifinals scores would be

SEC E/W/S 72 - SEC North 3.

New Sankey rule would be a running game clock for the last 3 periods of the SEC North conference semi.

Baseball, Basketball, and Gymnastics all elevate with those two in the house.

Softball as well.

Would solidify SEC as best conference in football, baseball, softball, gymnastics, and men’s golf and would position us as a top 2 men’s and potentially women’s basketball league as well as men’s and women’s track and field. Things to consider at least…
