Knowing Bo Jackson got hurt and it derailed his career, Barry Sanders.

That being said, possibility of injury aside, give me Bo Jackson.

Hurts BJ34 too considering he played football as a hobby and his true love was baseball.

Can you imagine Sanders [whose offensive system did not even have a TE] running behind that Dallas Oline or playing with a QB like Aikman?

Emmitt didn't even get touched until he was three yards beyond the LOS half the time. Sanders had two guys with different colored jerseys in the backfield with him half the time.

22000 yards just in the time he played. Five more years due to not being burned out and over 30k for his career. Untouchable numbers.

Bet every NFL GM would take Sanders first out of all of them.

LT for the pass catching

LT had almost 5,000 yards recieving in his career. More than any of those other guys. More by a lot for a few.

Of the guys listed, he is only behind Emmitt Smith and Walter Payton for APYs in NFL history. He has two of the top 10 yards from scrimmage seasons in NFL history and only Barry Sanders and AP made the top 10 once each.

I will take D Henry against the field - if he comes back 100% from injury and plays 5 more years at his recent level, GOAT.

Few random thoughts...

Bo, Barry, or Payton from this list.

Dickerson is undervalued as a RB.

Jim Brown would be a beast in any era.

LT would be great in modern offenses.

Derrick Henry has more than proven old school backs still have a place in today's game. Give him a QB with a clue and that offense wouldn't be stopped.

Emmitt had the best oline year in and out. Put Barry on the Cowboys and, my God, who knows what he'd of done.

Not a Peterson fan.

Earl Campbell in his prime for one game.

Next would be Barry Sanders or Bo Jackson.

Yeah. Hard to believe looking back, how little he actually played in the NFL, and it was "part time".
With a little over 200 more carries keeping his pace over 4 years and 515 carries, he would STILL hold the NFL record for avg. YPC.
