I couldn't watch the ineptitude of the ASU defense for more than a series and a half. Their offense was worse.

I have no idea of the outcome.

This is why USCe never amounts to anything. They have a loser's mentality demonstrated by the OP.

Oregon's strategy is to exhaust defenses, therefore making teams go deeper into their bench. Most SEC schools have quality depth on D so that isn't very effective.

Also, the style of play is a big issue. Most SEC teams play a physical style of football, and they practice that way all year long. The Pac 12 doesn't. Its very hard to prepare for such a physical team when play finesse teams all year long.

You are a tard if you think Arky can make it to Miami other than for a normal vacation to South Beach.

Actually no...the ESPN commentators last night were pretty much blowing them the whole game.....which is probably why you now believe they have a good defense. Hell, they were as good or better than Bama/LSU defensively, at least if you believe the commentators.

The D seems legit - better than 2010.

The big tests lurk in the upcoming weeks vs. more physical teams.

I think the NCAA is still working on the investigation, last I heard. Supposedly that was one reason that Kelly flirted with the NFL last post season, sanctions mite be looming.

They do look like a team on a mission. In fact they are having a season like we did last year - scoring at least 40 points 9 times and beating everybody but 1 opponent by double digits....

Can they get by Oregon State, Stanford, and possibly USC twice?

Results count. Oregon doesn't have them against the SEC. Until Oregon can change the results, we will remain skeptical.

I watched the first half of the game last night in a sports bar (i.e. no commentators), and was basically in awe of that team.

I don't believe commentators -- even when I'm able to hear them -- and I certainly don't believe SECR posters, but I do believe what I see, and that team is realer than real deal holyfield. That's what I saw.
