Don't forget Oregon is notorious for fumbles. Small quick athletes getting jacked by big strong fast athletes from the SEC don't hold onto the football very well (see LSU 2011). Don't believe me? Their in the bottom 3 for fumbles this year and that's playing cupcake Pac 12 defenses.

The problem Oregon has is that their O'lines and D'lines can't push around SEC D'lines or stand up to the power running game of the SEC. So they will break some plays, have some success, but eventually their O'line will stall especially with the offense playing behind the line of scrimmage so much, and when they do they can't stop a good power SEC offense, and their defense gets tired because they aren't used to getting punched in the mouth over and over.

I don't believe commentators -- even when I'm able to hear them -- and I certainly don't believe SECR posters, but I do believe what I see, and that team is realer than real deal holyfield. That's what I saw.

How do they look compared to what Alabama puts on the field?

Ok thanks for playing.

I didn't compare them to Bama, obviously Alabama is a bigger team. I'm just saying they are bigger than past Oregon teams.

Oregon doesn't stand a chance. Florida, SC, Bama, or LSU will ramrod them.

Their defense is good against high school offenses. Their offense is a bunch of track runners hoping they can outrun everyone on the field.

What happens when you have no gaps to run? What happens when we can run as fast as you? What happens when you take a hit from a guy three times your size?

40 - 27 happens.

You really think you're the first place I heard this prediction?

(FWIW it might be true. I'd still pick Bama over Oregon but wouldn't be surprised if I lost that bet.)

Oregon looks good until they play a decent defense. Look what LSU did to Washington. See what Missouri with 2nd string QB did to Arizona State.
Who has Oregon beaten since Kelly became coach?

I'm on the Oregon bandwagon. Kinda digging just how completely opposite they are from everything you become used to in the Southeast. From the unis to the style of offense...kinda refreshing in a way. I'd love to see them win it all.

But all that being said, I want to see AU go back to old school, smash mouth football. I like seeing other schools do what Oregon is doing, just as long as it's not mine...if that makes sense.

Last I checked you still play the same way. Similar players, similar style, equals similar result.

I will go so far as to admit that Oregon will beat an SEC team before anyone that spells " boy" b-o-i makes a profound or thoughtful statement.
