Cam still had a good game. It's different when you have an entire month to game plan for a team (or player) like Oregon was able to do with Auburn when each SEC had one week.

Cam against Oregon had 2 TD's 265 yards passing and 64 rushing yards.

Focusing so much on Cam let Dyer have a big day though, 143 yards rushing for him.

The Ducks don't have a great defense but the Auburn and LSU games proved it was more than adequate to keep the game close.

That 2010 D held Auburn down like no other SEC team did. Just wasn't enough against Cam. Last years D was adequate but not as good as 2010 and can't touch this years D. I've gone on record saying (before the season started) that this years D will be their best and it's looking to be true.

I wouldn't bet against them this year

I certainly wouldn't. In Mariota they have a good passer and a guy who's willing to run unlike Darron Thomas. He's a heck of a lot quicker too. Previously they had to wear some teams out, this year they're just blowing them out. Their real season starts in two weeks with a good stretch of games so we'll see.

Could be a good one and possibly Oregon's toughest game of the year.

Barners also had time to get their legs under them and prepare for Oregon. Works both ways.

You can't change both your lines completely in less than one year. LSU clown stomped these dudes last year. Plug the holes, and you win. Pac12 teams are shite in the trenches. The will be tested once (twice depending on who is in the Pac title game). However, I give them the benefit of a doubt if they get anyone but Bama. Saban will stomp Oregon. LSU, Gata, USCe, make good matchups and would be entertaining.

Point is, they haven't played anyone (except a team Mizzou beat with their backup QB) and people are talk about greatest ever. It's October. Let's just watch and talk about this later.

And why was that? Oh yeah! Kenny Rowe and company hit the hell out of him. He certainly didn't start the game with bruised ribs.

So if Bama loses and doesn't make the NC the team that beat them stands less of a chance than they would have? Nice logic.

C'mon man, I'm the biggest Duck backer on this site and have been following them for 23 years but until they win the big one you should just relax and go with it. I know how you feel, trust me. I've slowly made progress on the MSB but you're on an SEC board, best in the country , and this isn't a PAC friendly zone.

Since the BCS title game is all but decided, I thought I'd re-visit this lovely nugget of a post.
