IU has older players but they weren’t exactly highly recruited, most of them. So that tells you the coaching is off the chains

Any of these hotshot coaches can bring in good classes. None of them can coach them up like Cignetti, Kirby or Saban.

Just looking at our rbs and stats...Gibbs had a 6.1 avg and Jase had a 5.8 avg. Like you I didn't remember it being that good but those are great averages. Oh well

Good point. Bryce was kind of the show at the time. Amazingly, it just wasn't enough. Maybe it happened, but I don't recall us putting games away with JM or Gibbs at the end like we did with Henry, Lacy or Ingram/Richardson.

Kinda feel like Duck DBs are going to need to get physical at the line, at least show they’re willing to do it so they can bluff later. IU is running straight up timing plays…gotta interrupt that timing a bit

Being a Pittsburgher, it’s crazy to see how many local dudes are on this Indiana team. Sarratt started out at freaking St Francis, which is a small school outside of Johnstown and down the street from IUP (where Cignetti got his first head coaching job). Their offensive coordinator is a Norwin high school grad.
Just insane to me that these dudes are thriving on this level.

I just looked up team composite talent rankings. Indiana is ranked 72nd. Cignetti is a f*ckin' legend. They have 7 four star players. Uga has 57.
