Trailing only 1) Texas vs USC in 2006 and 2) Ohio State vs Oregon in 2014. Most watched non-NFL game since game 7 of the 2016 World Series.

Not a single SEC team in any of the 3 most watched National Championships of all time. I thought SEC peeps and media said only the SEC mattered? ??

I think he looks like an overacting dork. His serious face feels like he’s trying to emulate Nick but not doing a great job. Hell of a coach, but seems like a weirdo

They asked him about his facial expressions pregame and he said that no matter what the score is, he acts and looks at the game like it’s 0-0. Added that he doesn’t want to jump up and down and cheerlead because in his eyes, Indiana never has the lead, it’s always a tied 0-0 game.
It’s the last game of the season for the first National Championship in Indiana’s history. I’m positive that Indiana’s players aren’t preparing for the game thinking it’s going to be a cakewalk lol.
I can’t imagine a dorky nerd like Mendoza being teammates with the Antonio Brown-like personalities he will be working with in the NFL.
Being a Pittsburgher, it’s crazy to see how many local dudes are on this Indiana team. Sarratt started out at freaking St Francis, which is a small school outside of Johnstown and down the street from IUP (where Cignetti got his first head coaching job). Their offensive coordinator is a Norwin high school grad.

Just insane to me that these dudes are thriving on this level.
lol, refs trying to give Georgia another chance to win this. fricking douchebags.

They converted a 2 point conversion after the missed 2 point conversion.
This game is fricking rigged.

That's my thought. When you have a veteran team with some special players on it, you can do some great things. The question is whether or not that success can be sustained long-term

Be honest though. We said the exact same thing about Indiana at the end of last year. If see where you’re coming from, but I’m never doubting Cignetti again.

And I still keep doubting them. Cignetti is the best coach in college football. Regardless of what happens the rest of the playoff, the coaching job he’s done this year and the turnaround that Indiana has had is the best I’ve ever seen.

Attempting my first ever dry January. Emptying out my fridge and bringing every ipa in my fridge to the party I’m going to hear shortly. Going to be an epic night. Tons of snow here in Pittsburgh so I’m glad I’m crashing at the house. One couple going there are Ohio State alumni so it will be fun hanging with them with the game on in the background.

Tomorrow is my father coming over and watching football and eating food all day.

I remember a few years ago when Kentucky went 10-3, there were a number of SEC morons that said Kentucky would perennially finish top 3 in The Big Ten, ACC, Big 12, and Pac 12 lolololol.

I think Indiana got screwed having to play either Oklahoma or Alabama in their 1st playoff game. I think they are in trouble with either of those teams. They would win against all the other teams like Texas A&M or Miami, Oregon and Ole Miss.

It would be a coin flip for me. Oklahoma/Alabama is going to have a grind going against Indiana’s defense.

It sucks the second round where the bye teams first play is at a neutral site. The bye teams should be hosting in their campus.

Mendoza’s mom is hot.

I know I’m beating a dead horse here but frick Notre Dame. These assholes who play such a boring brand of football with no conference affiliation are always put on a pedestal and taking playoff spots from other teams. I would rather see The Citadel in the playoff than these shitheads.

OU, Ole Miss, UGA, A&M, Bama all skull frick TT.. Texas, Vandy and maybe even Tenn probably beat TT. Hell fire, they lost to Ariz St! A team that lost to Miss State.

Alabama lost to Florida State lol.

One of the most interesting scenarios right now is what happens if A&M goes 12-0 and loses the SEC champ game. Would the committee drop us out of the top 4? If so, it massively damages championship games.

If Ohio State, Indiana, and A&M go into conference championship weekend undefeated, they will all stay in the top 3 regardless if they lose or not.

The only movement I can see is Texas Tech taking #4 Georgia’s spot if they win the Big 12 and finish 12-1.

Umm, Venables is probably at least 50% of the reason Clemson has two national championships, maybe more. He had to pick up the garbage left prior to him getting to Oklahoma, and he has just won at Tennessee and Alabama in their houses. Let me know when Cignetti accomplishes that

When was Venables the head coach at Clemson? I must have missed that.

Just a month ago, all of the Sooner fans on here wanted him gone lol.

If Notre Dame wins out, they will be in the playoff. Period.

This doesn’t have a great chance of happening, but if Alabama and BYU win their conference while the other teams also win, it could get interesting.
