Hoping for a position by position breakdown from neutral fans.
im by no means neutral but i'll give you an honest position breakdown of bama.
QB: McCarron is BCSCG MVP but a lot of people will tell you he is not spectacular. He can beat you with his arm, but bama's offense usually doesnt ask him to. Look for him to throw check downs to his backs for big gains. Your absolute best chance to win the game is to knock McCarron out of the game.
RB: Eddie Lacy is the starter. He's big, fast, and he loves to spin. Very solid all around back. Jalston Fowler is the backup and he is a mauler. You better have your mouth piece in if youre gonna try to tackle this big bastard. Behind him are two smaller backs who both will get carries, both are explosive with the ball, but may have trouble in pass protection.
WR: bama is very young at WR. its unclear what guys will be on the field. there is no Julio Jones in the group but there are a lot of burners.
TE: Michael Williams is the starter. He's huge and experienced. Very good blocker who usually catches the ball. His size makes him difficult to cover, but he isnt a homerun threat unless he is left uncovered.
OL: Bama stacked, yall fricked. There is no other way to put it. Outland Trophy winner at center, two enormous tackles, one outstanding guard and another returning starter at the other guard.
DL: deepest DLine bama has had in a long time. They are going to raise hell on the line of scrimmage. Jesse Williams is..... well, i dont even know how to describe him, but you will see him. Big is the obvious word to describe them. Very big.
LBs: bama is replacing two studs but the talent is there. probably the deepest position on the whole team. CJ Moseley is a ball hawk at LB. He gets a lot of interceptions. Nico Johnson is very solid and was a contributor on two NCs. Trey Depreist is probably the biggest hitter of the group and he is all over the place. Adrian Hubbard is a new guy who will be rushing the passer. 6'6" 250, but he's not as expereinced as the other guys.
CB: Bama is bringing in a lot of new bodies at CB. Dee Milliner is the #1 guy. He's got all the speed you could ever ask for and he is good in run support too. He was a liability in coverage his first year but he improved greatly last season. If he gets his hand on one of those ducks, he'll take it to the house. The other guys are unproven and that is where i expect the meechigan coaching staff to focus their passing attack.
Safties: We're stacked. Robert Lester is the senior in this group and he has a knack for being in the right place to make an interception. Vinnie Sunseri is a guy who will drive you crazy all night long. He will be making plays all over the field. Last year Courtney Upshaw said Sunseri was the hardest hitter on the whole team. He was a freshman. Bama will play 3 safeties and the third safety, HaHa Clinton-Dix, is the most athletically gifted of the group.
Kicker: Bama has got the most muscular kicker you will ever find on kickoffs and the smallest kicker you will find kicking field goals.
Punter: very average, but spring results suggest he is improving.

I am betting Sparty sends thank you flowers to Saban after the game.

I do think it'll be a blow out, and here is why.
Bama will dominate the line of scrimmage, yes, but when our O-Line dominates that means our 4 RBs, all amazing, will break out long runs. If Dee Hart or Yeldon get in space, gg Defense. If Lacy only has one man to beat, he'll bust out a spin move. If Fowler has four guys to beat, he'll bulldoze all four of them.
On Defense we run a 3-4, so our D-Lineman usually don't get a whole lot of stats. We blitz LBs and drop some in coverage. Mosley is a do it all guy at ILB, but he'll likely be in coverage. He might as well be a 6'2" 240lb Defensive back, and he's quick enough to watch out for a Denard scramble and shut him down. Nico has improved in coverage, but he'll likely blitz, and he will make big plays in the back field. Hubbard has really long arms and nice size, I don't see any reason for him not to have 3 sacks with the way Robinson will be moving around.
Milliner and Belue may be the fastest CB combo in the nation. Belue has been clocked running 4.3, and Milliner 4.35. Dangerous combo, both will likely have at LEAST 1 pick, and that pick will go to the endzone. Lester is very good in coverage. He can cover TEs and HBs, hell he can cover some WRs on his own. He excels in getting INTs. One major reason he didn't get many last year was because him and Dre were on the same side and no one would throw at them. They tested Menzie and still payed for it.
Vinnie Sunseri will likely start, and we're calling him VinnieBadger now for a reason. Hard hitter, likely to scoop and cause fumbles. Expect an INT from him too.
Quinton Dial is a huge beast on the DL who I think is a sleeper and will really have a dominant season. People have said this is our deepest D-line, and that is true, but I think this is our best group of starters on the D-Line. Williams is gonna play Nose and expect a sack or two from him. He's got a great build and with only ONE season at DE he is highly regarded as a NT/DT NFL prospect. Square is experienced, and while he isn't as good as the other two, he isn't likely to miss a tackle. He takes good angles too.
Now that AJ is confident and Saban trusts him, expect him to torch your D. We've got a lot of weapons. Kenny Bell, DeAndrew White, Amari Cooper, Chris Black, hopefully Duron Carter. Don't forget about Hart and Yeldon out of the back field and screens or wheel routes. AJ has trouble completing wheel routes last year, but that was when he wasn't confident, and our new OC has helped him with a few adjustments to his mechanics.
Finally, our return game. Dee Milliner, Dee Hart, Deion Belue, Amari Cooper, all of these guys can return kicks and punts and all of them will take it all the way with just one hole.
Will we go crazy and try and run it up? No, but the score will get big because Michigan won't be able to do anything. I say 42-7 Bama.

Bama has much better WR's. QBs are apples and oranges, and both kickers suck.

One of the most homer posts I have seen recently

I think Bama will pull away and win by 10. Seems like the better defense almost always wins these early games.

Alabama should wax them.
Michigan is so overrated it hurts. Every game I watched them win last year was due to the other team royally f-ing up.
Denard is a human turnover machine. The Bama D will eat him alive.
Gumps by 3 TDs at a minimum.
