I'm with Killian on this. I think Bama will demonstrate total control of the game, but not do or show anything that would help another team get film on us.

The ways I could see it turning into a total blowout, are if Shoelace starts throwing floaters and our dbs get hungry for pick sixes, or if UM's defense cant stop Lacy/Hart/Fowler on dive plays that wind up going 50+ yards.

What if Michigan gets up by two scores? Will Alabama tip it's hand then?

I remember last year after the Kent State game how much some Alabama fans were freaking out about our O-line and our QB, and how other teams said we were overrated. I'd rather people think that as long as Alabama wins than show a hand trying to impress people.

Depends on when they score... if it's the beginning of the game, I doubt it. If it's the second half, I assume they would do what they could to try to win.

yeah, when playing a "name" school like michigan, just winning is enough.

Bama's one weakness will be its young and inexperienced secondary in their first game. However, Denard Robinson is not the man to exploit this. If, somehow, Robinson has the game of his life (see Stephen Garcia v. Bama in 2010), combined with a horrendous game from AJ, Michigan could maybe, just maybe pull off the upset. That's a lot of ifs though.

In before the cliche Saban hates Michigan
Saban is not a Michigan State alum he will not let a petty resentment rule him, he will not run up the score over a media created vendeta

I think (hope) Bama wins, but when it's the first game of the year you never know how a team will play. Sometimes it takes a few games to gel, especially with many new starters.

I think Michigan has a good coach now, and they will obviously be "up" for this game. I don't think it will be a blowout either way.

Michigan was playing some good ball at the end of the year, will they continue that trend?

The #1 Bama O in the spring game played the role as the scout team testing the new parts on the D with odd forumations and crazy pass patterns in preparation for Michigan & Arkansas.

Michigan doesnt have the depth or size yet to compete with Bama. They are going to get pushed around on both sides of the ball. Its going to get bad.

I hear MI will have a pre game human sacrifice. The Drum Major takes one for the team.

Early season game, anything could happen.

But if all goes as it should, Bama's O-line dominates. And Michigan is swarmed by Bama's defense.
