Obviously it isn’t realistic. I was making a point of an insane way a rule could be taken advantage of to show how dumb the rule is.

Except it makes no sense to make use of any sort of consistent exploitation because your whole team wouldn’t be able to hold a bat by Week 3, so there’s not actually an issue. It’s moot.

Olenik should have been awarded first based on the current rules. In my opinion he should not have been awarded first though, because it is absoulutey ridiculous to punish a pitcher for a pitch that isn’t in the batter’s box.

Huh? Of course. Why wouldn’t it? The amount of injuries this year is just insanely frustrating. The second we got healthy our number 1 starter went down. Just really sucks
