Tell it to the feds and game authorities.

"Harvest" is their term,

What if I was consuming a part of her when she expired?

And you still won't admit you were wrong about athletes not having this coverage? And your still insisting that your imaginary NCAA "pool insurance".

What fricking pussy

quote:

Lets say I have 500 million to put into a non profit insurance pool

You keep babbling about these imaginary scenerios without any examples to back them up.Do you not understand why "for profit" insurance are much more efficient and provide better service? You really want to create a huge buracracy to administer your clusterfrick of an idea?

quote:

Which position offers more money in the pool to cover claims?

Which posistion will be run more effeciently and has a better incentive to give better service? I shop my auto insurance EVERY year to get the best deal and any policy THIS huge would have administrators who do the same.Called capitalism and it's been known to work pretty well.

quote:

Do you really not understand insurance

Do you not understand title IX?

ALL benefits/polocies would have to be EXACTLY the same no matter if it's a fattie softball player or Todd Gurley.

quote:

Yes, if written correctly

horseshite! When your fairy tale NCAA insurance company has over 500,000 other athletes to cover and write policies for.

quote:

Both are underwritten by the same insurance company under different policies

This part is even more hilarious. So you're going to write 500,000 "different policies" for each athlete? And this is going to be done by a "non profit" insurance company
or agency?

quote:

told you this stuff was boring but correct, you told me a retard could understand it.

EVERYBODY understands shared risk and you've yet to make a coherent argument/point on how your idea would work as "non profit"and how/who would administer it.

I hope to God you're not using Ponzi schemes like Medicare and Medicaid as your examples.

I never said athletes did not have the insurance, I said the risk pools were small and inefficient.

I know why you think they are but being surrounded by attorneys, accountants, actual insurance commissioners for the past 20 to 30 years I can tell you that you may be out of your sphere of expertise. Try contacting your state insurance commissioner if you feel I am so lacking in knowledge and see what they say. Perhaps they can get though to you because clearly you have a mental block with me.

Folks that use this form of internal insurance are some of the wealthiest folks in the US. Perhaps you have heard of Warren Buffet but you may not realize a big chunk of his fortune was made in insurance and reinsurance.

Do you not understand title IX?

Way better than you think, I was around and still working when this was implemented. Why do you think I follow both mens and women sports equally.

quote:

ALL benefits/polocies would have to be EXACTLY the same no matter if it's a fattie softball player or Todd Gurley.

No they don't! Risk is different in different sports and lost income is different in different sports. Sadly you do not seem to grasp this simple concept. If I drive a BMW I have a different policy than if I drive a Yugo.

quote:

When your fairy tale NCAA insurance company has over 500,000 other athletes to cover and write policies for.

So no insurance company or reinsurance company can write 500,000 policies? Do you really believe this?

Do me a favor, do some real research then tell me I am wrong. Call your states Department of Insurance then tell me I am wrong. For some reason you forget the NCAA is already a non profit and is not owned by the government so I am at a loss to understand how you compare it to Medicade or Medicare?

Bama doesn’t pay their women athletes as much as their men.
