How about when they were talking about Mike the Tiger and using a tranquilizer dart and Ben says "My wife once shot me with a tranquilizer dart"

Yup. Basically, I blew half a tequila shot out my nose on that one.

One time Lyn used a sophisticated word that confused Ben.
Ben’s response: “We don’t have the time or the crayons for you to explain that one to me”.

Really enjoy these 2 guys calling games.
Also, Dizzy Dean was born and raised in Arkansas.

I am not very keen on giving LSU any compliments here because the LSU chicken brigade is so caustic and nasty, but LSU baseball has the best announcers in college baseball.

Really one of his best lines ever.

Best college baseball broadcast team I've ever heard was a few years ago when it was PBP Dave (one of the Dave's) with both Ben and Dave Delucci on color in the booth. Hilarious, especially their Bianco stories.

Worst back handed compliment ever. I’ll try and take the positive from it!

That was when LSU visited Ole Miss and they also had Morgan Wallen performing on campus. Very memorable broadcast.

Ben and Lyn are the best and I always light up when I hear both are on the call for LSU games.
On the other hand, I thought I was gonna punch the TV if I heard that dude on the Texas broadcasts say "breaker" one more time.

I really thought they should have let Ben call the Ole Miss OK national championship series.
His relationship with Bianco might have prevented it, but I think that would have meant a lot to Ben, and as a OM guy, I would have loved to hear him call those games.

There was a point where they were talking about the bridge and I can't remember if they were talking about Frey or Jones being from one of the small towns on the other side because Lynn asked him what towns were out that way...
Ben - "Don't blink or sneeze when you go through there, you'll miss it."
Lynn - "There must be something in the water there to grow him that big."
I'm paraphrasing but that was the jist of the convo... I was rolling.

I feel like every time Ben calls a game I learn about everything I thought I knew…. Baseball, Louisiana, hell even the moon.

I hope McDonald is still calling games 30 years from now. We are lucky to have him. I’ve actually enjoyed a few of the guys doing the calls at other schools this year. People have a tendency to overblow the homer thing.
