Hotter than a Rolex in a pawn shop is one of my favorites from Lynn

Like others have said, Ben doesn’t hide that he went to LSU but he’s well-studied on the rest of the SEC and that showed this past weekend with his adoration for Arkansas’ talent on both sides of the inning.

Ben is great. He has learned the right mix of redneck self-deprecation and great insight. I liked how he talked about the LSU pitcher needing to "read the bat" ... It's more important than the scouting report for a pitcher. Meaning the Ark hitter was all over his fastball, even ahead of it, so he needed to take the cue and throw something off-speed before the ball leaves the park.

Lyn and Ben are the best combo in baseball. I know I am biased, but Lyn is a national treasure. Ben just knows ball. The only thing that aggravates me about Ben is his constant lobbying to get exit velos down, when I think they need to leave it where is at. The game is the best it has ever been. Do not touch the bats or balls.

For a few years now I've been keeping a running list on my phone of good lines he drops during games... one of these days I might make a coffee table book.

I am a baseball fanatic. Have cards from the 1940 and up. Best I ever heard was Dizzy Dean and PeeWee Reese. The Yankees were playing and there was a couple sitting by themselves making out in the stands. Dizzy said on TV “ he kisses her on the strikes and she kisses him on the balls!” The tv went blank!

Hard to stomach him a few years ago, but he's grown on me the last few years. He is good, and I enjoy him calling the games.
Keith Moreland and Greg Swindel were a great combo when on LHN. They brought many MLB stories and great knowledge of the game. Both former Longhorn all Americans, but tried to keep the homer stuff toa minimum.

We’re spoiled with Ben and Rollins. Probably why our game threads on the road shite on opposing teams announcers. There’s no better college duo in the country when it comes to announces college baseball games.

They are awesome no doubt. I think LSU and Arkansas have by far and away the best but nobody can touch Lynn's one liners

ESPN has been trying to get Ben full time as a baseball announcer but he also calls Baltimore Orioles' games too. There's a clip out there where he's catching a possum outside the ball park in Omaha that is hilarious. The thing that people who know him personally confirm is that he is a good ol'country....not redneck... boy. As much into hunting & fishing as he is into baseball.

I think Ben and Lynn are the best too but I'm also bias. This season I was pleasantly surprised with the OU announcers. Was not impressed with the aTm announcers at all.

The nuanced difference between a redneck and a good ol’ country boy is not fully understood by this suburban Cajun boy, I can tell ya dat.

Sure, he's a bit of a homer, but what team's announcers aren't? He knows the game and adds meaningful commentary.

I actually think he goes TO out of his way to be neutral. He slobbered all over the hogs cock this weekend. Said multiple times he thinks they’re the best team in the country
